So if Kimbo Slice were to give you his hardest punch in the balls and you don't cry, I can assume you don't have any? Pardon me, but I'd cry like a little bitch...
Now that I think of it, $150 doesn't sound far-fetched at all.
For one, it's Microsoft.
And secondly, it could be $150 alone or $300-$350 with Natal and maybe a free Natal game (they better have a free game if they want it to sell). Hell, they have $300 Elites with, like, 6 games on there...
If they want it to sell at that price, they would have to do it. It's like Nintendo's approach.
They found that Wii Sports was successful. What should we call everything else?
WII Fit
WII Motion Plus
Mario Kart WII
New Super Mario Brothers WII
WII Sports Resort
WII Vitality Sensor
I'm sure the reason why Galaxy doesn't have Wii in it is so that the hardcore audience thinks it's for t...
Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 made me cry because I've followed the story and was attached to the characters by the end of it.
There have been some movies that almost made me cry, but never went through with it.
This generation made me cry because it's just effed up. Plain and simple. I'm sure some of you can agree with me. This generation feels unbelievably detached from the other ones. I wanted "casuals" to start gaming so that we can play ...
Many might be ragging on JC for his incredibly successful movies (Titanic and Avatar). While I do agree that his most financially successful movies - which just so happen to be the two most financially successful movies of all time - are simply not original (Titanic = True Story | Avatar = Pocahontas), he does have great skills as a director.
I hope he works on the cutscenes for Killzone 3 because he really has a way with camera angles and obviously 3D among other things. Jus...
That's a WiFi Adapter and 1 year of XBL right there.
AKA.... half way toward a PS3.
AKA.... a PS2 and a game.
EDIT: As a matter of fact, if Natal DOES end up being cheaper than a non-playable, non-entertaining WiFi Adapter, I would be utterly confused and ask "why?"
Why is Natal cheaper than something that should have been built-in? That would really be weird.
People expected a PS3 Slim because of a low-quality video released months prior showing people holding a PS3 Slim (I believe it was the Philippines).
The only reason a 360 Slim is rumored is because of the PS3 Slim's success story.... that's what the rumors are based on.
I'm not saying a 360 Slim can't happen. I'm saying a 360 Slim wouldn't be needed if they drop the price. Hell, it's already just $100 more than a PS2 but still. <...
Insomniac's already predicted reach out to multiple parties actually happens, and people start randomly picking out developers to make the same move based on nothing but what Insomniac has done.
My mom always picked Sony for products when we were younger because she knew the quality would last. We picked up a Sony TV, Surround Sound Stereo and DVD players (to name a few) until she and my step-father brought home a PlayStation after our SNES kicked the bucket.
As they say: "And the rest was history." Still stuck with their product even today.
PS: Yeah, Google sounds about right. I ask it things I would never ask a human being. I trust you, G...
Another fight about a PS3? The last one was pretty funny. It's a $300 machine and the lady spent over $1,000 on it lol
You really make me want to find you a girlfriend myself so that you don't sound so pathetic.
Reporting every PS3 article for no reason and posting comments in them when they get approved. I hope you know your comments aren't swaying anyone to buy your console of choice.
In fact, all it tells me is that THESE would be the types of people I'd be meeting on XBL... and that's a scary thought.
I bought one because I thought every other console was going to be like it. I thought the PS3 wasn't going to have built-in wifi, HDD, bluetooth or a free online service.
I was going to buy a PS3 either way because of the exclusives I knew would be coming, but it surprised me as to how much was included with it compared to the 360. Hence, when the 360 broke it was the end of my journey. What else would I be looking forward to? More Gears and more Halo? I've had my fix...
Wow.
No.
If random people on a website's secluded forum make you want to look at the piece of plastic you bought and say "I don't feel like supporting you"...
You must be one of those who fall for the "Punch Britney Spears in the face to win a free iPad" ads.
February NPD Results - "Is the 360 back on it's feet?"
April MC Results - "..... *crickets*..." or "Well, duh, isn't the PS3 Japanese?"
I love watching the different attitudes towards different regions around here because it's so blatantly US.
You must've never seen how bad the PS3 was selling the months before the Slim was released....
To sum it up in one word: Atrocious.
PS: To their credit, it was selling about 15,000 a week, which was what the 360 makes in a month but now the numbers have been blown up.
I don't remember people getting this worked up when they:
Removed the "Information Bar"
Removed PlayStation Home's public chat
Changed the Chat Room design
Changed PSN Profiles
Changed the PS Store location
Among other things. Sony should tell these people:
"Hey, so you lost Linux. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?"
It was a bad time to release but I think Alan Wake made some great strides to be something pretty unique.
They could've given you a flashlight and said "use this to kill things." but instead, they gave feel to the different sources of light, making it feel like a true weapon. Spotlights are like turrets, flares are like rocketlaunchers and the flashlight is like your trusty handgun.
Of all the games on the 360, THIS was the one game I wanted to ...
There were also a lot of people saying it's a new IP. Why not ask for that link, as well?
Oh wait... duh... you're a fanboy.
When it comes to making it *mainstream* popular - poor execution.
When it comes to making money - success.
