Wasn't the Wii $250? Wasn't the PS3 $600?
Yeah, it was.
I love DICE's style of FP Shooters. The gameplay is very believable in the Battlefield series (probably because of Frostbite).
I can't wait to see what they do with Medal of Honor. That is another franchise I hope reaches super-status like I once hoped Call of Duty would (which it eventually did).
1. Upset??
2. Did you forget the packs of GTA games and Metal Gear games from the PS2 days? No one was up and arms about those and do you know why?
Because it's just those number of games... PUT TOGETHER.
A collection of the same game?
OR
A collection of remastered games?
If they added exclusive brand new maps with those three CODs, it would be different. Here? They did nothing, just like...
I would like to see you make it happen, Mr. BioWare CEO. What I would really love to see is for you to make a game on PS3 that can impress me, because I (and other PS3 owners) have been spoiled for quite some time now.
:)
Apparently, a lot of people also seem to forget that Bungie never developed that game for PS2.
If they use the entire Sony Santa Monica development studio.... and leave out the Bungie developers....
Wait........ no.
How about maxing out the 360 first? Unless maxing out means sub-HD, short story and less-than amazing graphics.
I just thought that by "Kojima", they were referring to him going up on M$'s stage to announce the multiplatform deal.
After looking at how much COD sold on the PS3, clearly not.
I think that they're more happy with the fact that Bungie themselves are going multiplat.... the same guys who made Halo what it is (litterally).
With that thought, no matter what title Bungie makes, it won't be exclusive, which is exactly what PS3 fanboys wanted. Obviously it won't be Halo since it's owned by M$ (which is exactly why neither Resistance nor Ratchet & Clank will ever jump ship if Insomniac tried multiplat) and Bungie themselves expressed that they're done wi...
I would expect this to be the reason for the shortages.
Here's a better question:
Why did you buy a PS3 and still expect to play Halo and Gears with them?
Oh... you never bought a PS3.. duh.
So the day they removed the ability for 3rd party accessories support never happened..
So let me get this straight. You wouldn't get a PS3 because:
5. You have PS2 games and no PS2....
4. YOUR internet connection with PSN.
3. Updates stopping piracy (yet later complain about half-assnes of it).
2. Piracy... wait.... what was all that talk about "I can pirate games on my 360."... was that just N4G 360 fanboys?
1. Following a trend in order to stay alive, which is nothing to complain about. After all, you'...
Apparently, the gap was as big as 9,000,000 before the Slim (up to August 22nd, 2009)!
When the Slim came out, that shrunk DRAMATICALLY with all caps (obviously).
Total August 22nd 2009: 22.5mil PS3 to 31mil 360.
Total Now: 40mil 360 to 36-37mil PS3 (unconfirmed, but likely)
"Just wait! It has potential!"
http://www.frontgracza.pl/w...
Yeah.... they were right about that. Turns out the waiting paid off in the form of God of War III, MGS4 and Uncharted 2 (to name a few).
To be honest, the only reason I didn't doubt the PS3 was because of the name behind it. It's PlayStation, the most recognizable gaming name/logo in the world (a...
They never got to buy Yahoo!. They declined the offer.
But they cut the price of the "Fat" models to $300 the same day they announced the Slim.
"Xbox 360 outsells everything in Feb. 2010"
PS3 is dead now, 360 is back, oh yes!
We don't even need Natal, this is the trend from now on!
Wow, guys. You guys sure know how to make yourselves seem like the victims. Maybe if you didn't talk so much about sales back in the day, PS3 fanboys would be rubbing sh*t like this in your face. Maybe if you didn't talk so much crap about 360 VS PS3 multiplats, PS3 fanboys wouldn't throw Uncharted 2, God of...
Wow, it took me a while to understand what they were saying, but now that I read it thoroughly, those are very impressive numbers. Being able to pull numbers like that is pure good timing and luck on Sony's part.
Sega was unable to make a comeback, but it looks as if Sony was saved this time. They'll definitely live to see another generation.
To be honest, the gap ballooned to about 9 million at one point, but since shrunk because of the Slim. In fact, just a week before the Slim was release worldwide, the gap was just under 9 million.
With that said, Sony was able to close a gap by about 5 million in 6 months since those numbers are over a month old (their fiscal year ends on March 31st). On another note, Sony has sold over 1,000,000 since March 31st up until now, meaning they're at about 36.7 million, just s...
