This is definitely gonna hurt.... for the 3 people that took advantage of the feature.... and the millions of Slim owners who never it.

You might think it's poor.
But try going to a college that requires a log-in to access the internet (which many do, including mine). My friends who have XBL are SOL because they don't have a Browser to use and log-in. My PS3 buddies? It's a no-brainer.
I find nothing "poor" about it.
I found myself watching full Twilight Zone episodes through YouTube on my PS3 for a week straight because I kept missing episodes on Syfy late night.
Very useful. Especially when you wanna check Facebook or MySpace without going down or upstairs to your computer to do it (especially when you have a painfully slow PC running XP).
Browser > Endless Applications
lmao.
Calm down, dude... it's an April Fool's joke. PS3 fanboys still have those bragging rights.
Sorry.
The PSP's top 35 titles out now have each sold over 1,000,000.
They aren't all GTA...
"Too bad software sales for PSP are abysmal"
Liberty City Stories - 6,440,000
Vice City Stories - 3,660,000
Daxter - 2,400,000
Monster Hunter Franchise - 1,430,000 / 2,420,000 / 4,450,000
Metal Gear Solid - 1,070,000
Final Fantasy - 1,690,000 / 2,450,000
Many more have sold over 1,000,000. I wouldn't say the sales are fantastic, but they aren't abysmal, either.
When it comes to trophies, I was a very low percentage. I didn't bother Platinuming because I knew there was some issues with the online trophies.
Maybe I'll try again.
Maybe not "word-of-mouth" wise, but it sold about 1.5 million copies. I wouldn't call it a "Greatest Hit", but I would call over 1 million a hit.
Clearly God of War III is doing better in sales, selling just under what HS took 3 years to reach within a week, but I say 1 million and above is a hit.
I guess not a "Greatest Hit", though.
Can't we just use the Xbox Live Vision cam, then?
There would be no need for Natal if it has a controller, which is what is what advertised as. A controller-free platform.
It was also advertised as a "use anything" mechanism, although they obviously can't do that without facing a lawsuit.
All they have left is to use the 360 controller or another type of Wii-like peripheral.
Seriously, what's the point? If I want the game to see my...
So I'm guessing you already knew he spent money on it and didn't receive it as an unwanted gift.
Or he could have been smiling because maybe his PS3 was collecting dust up until now.
OR he could have been smiling because he is happy that he will continue to play his 360, since consoles collect more dust when turned on.
No? Alrighty.
/sarcasm
haha yeah, but maybe they have to pick theirs out of a platter first, then take it to a blender and "eat" it through a straw.
@Godmars - yeah, it was funny when he was fondling the muffin in one of the commercials. I think it was the MAG one.
Forget the problem with pulling the trigger, how about the freakin aiming?
I mean, wtf are they gonna do, use my trigger finger's nuckle to track the reticule?!
I don't know about Natal, man. After Sony patented the use of random objects to use as controllers, I don't see how this would be possible without something in our hands.
Who the hell knows, anyways. We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, it looks like the Move is more prepared at the...
True
I say, just bring down the Arcade to $100-$150 and they'll be fine. And besides, one of the only reasons the PS3 is doing so well is because of the total redesign from logo and everything (which gave some people the sort of illusion that the PS3 was new), coupled with the superb and witty advertising.
Or better yet, get an even earlier headstart in the next gen! haha, include Blu-Ray this time, loser!
What a monster! Reminds me of the PS1 when that was growing older :)
No, but someone who knows how business works does.
Sony's products all together for this week were over 68,500 (which is over 20,000 more than the 360 made in Japan this entire year so far). From a business standpoint, that's great.
We noticed.
I remember hearing this as far back as September 2008:
http://www.gamercenteronlin...
This rumor has gone on longer than the MGS4 360 rumor. I remember hearing about MS "confirming" this to be true back in 2008.
I don't know... I don't see it getting slimmer. What would happen to the "green ring of life"? The faceplate designs? HDDs from the older ones? I mean, I'm not saying it can't happen, but I don't think they need to.
Just bring in the new, more reliable motherboard and bring it down to $150 if you have to. It's been doing ju...
"except install other OS."
And guess what, Wrath?
It's the only one that every did....
