With all the technical expertise explaining minute differences... and then they somehow "overlooked" to mention the simple fact that the PS3 version actually is not the best output the console is capable of. This knowing full well that the audience is console fan-boys, and that they will make purchasing decisions based on this.

They don't turn off the RRoD setting on the XB360 either. So the comparisons never shows the end - only the first two chapters - because by then the XB360 would have gone into RRoD.

Really.. this is so lame. Suddenly having won the war became a "burden" if you listen to the HD-DVD backers. Heck... if it such a burden, why did Toshiba try so hard to win? And why did MS spew all the marketing BS about how "superior" HD-DVD supposedly is?

They did not turn on the RGB full on purpose. They knew - at least after Assassins Creed they have been told many times.

My kids love Dynasty Warriors. Will get this game for the PS3.
It is just a terminal server... like VNC, XWindows etc.
PS3 is just a client. Even your old 486 can be a client for this type of tech. Most will find it disappointing. Some will do it just for the hell of it.
My kids love it. They have been asking when the PS3 version hits the stores. Don't care for the scores... especially from some so-called reviewers and media companies.
Have still not seen a single HD-DVD player in our region. The war is over for HD-DVD. They are just throwing money away trying to undercut BR.
btw - if you load Linux on PS3 - backup your game saves and content. It will disappear if you don't. Should have gotten an external HD before I loaded Linux.

Mylo is a PDA. PSP is not. Until they add keyboard standard to PSP, with office functionality - there is place for a device like the Mylo. Not everything is about games. Would prefer a PSP / PDA combo though...

Nothing new however. The HD-DVD add-on from MS acknowledges that for the high end HD consoles, movie playback is important.
With HD-DVD failing, BR winning - the simple calculation is:
1 x Console: $350
1 x BR Player: $300

Actions like this is really really bad for the format. It sends a clear message that the market lost faith in its viability. This will hasten the demise of HD-DVD. They were not thinking.
Would you as a company owner invest in a format where the people who bought it after a year start a petition to keep it on life support? Heck - if anything this kind of thing will make business abandon it even faster.
Not everything from MS is bad. C# is a good programming language. Yes it was a response to Java. MySQL is not a MS product. C# does much better in the market than Python or Ruby, and I think Python, Ruby C# are all great languages.
