I'm still playing through the game, so i'm not sure whether I can agree with the score just yet. However, I enjoyed the review and respect the writers insights.
I'm very much looking forward to preparing my own review later this week, and this review has definitely given me a lot to think about.
Perth doesn't receive a lot of attention within the Game Industry, so it's great to see something productive coming from our hometown. What a remarkable idea!
Hi Rockefellow,
Thank you kindly for your advice, I appreciate your comment.
You're exactly right though, and I certainly would not post such a comment if I were representing my actual business. Perhaps I just a little too excited at seeing my passion project grow from nothing into something, albeit really small. It's still good for SEO to get listed through N4G, but you're right, the best views will come from my niche little FB group.

On behalf of GameCloud I would like to let everyone know that we've just hit our first major milestone this month, both as a recognised review website and with significant growth in the social media space. It is because of this that I would like to thank everyone on N4G as this is where the project gained it's first momentum. Thank you!
If this isn't satire, then it's a terribly written article that borders on propaganda.
What defines this as potential propaganda?
- A form of communication aimed at influencing the attitude of a person or community.
- Propaganda will only present only one side of an argument.
- The objective is to create a chosen result in audience attitudes.
- Propaganda presents facts selectively, possibly lying by omission.

It's clear he hasn't lived with his fiancee yet, and he also states that he was a life-long geek before meeting her. It's all just inexperience, he doesn't understand yet that that whilst it takes a little while, a good relationship will find balance.
I've been living with my soon to be Wife for 18 months and we have no problems making time for both of our personal interests. I admit I felt a little indulgent when I was playing RPGs, so in turn started my ...
@ Zayne - If you're a fan of DmC then it's definitely worth your time!
@ Diffraction_Fos - I think these trends are quite common at the end of a console cycle, and given how long this one has been, it's arguably a major financial risk trying to introduce new intellectual property so late in the game.
That's not saying I agree with it being okay, but I at least understand. I think we can look forward to a lot of new games from the end of this year onward. It finally be that time where companies start taking risks again! :)
That was an interesting review to say the least. However, having also reviewed the game myself, I honestly cannot see any logical way that a score of 4/10 is justified.
It would be interesting to see how you can breakdown that score.
I've not been seeing a lot of attention directed at this game, even from some of the larger review sites. It would be such a shame if Antichamber goes completely unnoticed...
Did anyone actually read the article?
The only thing that is actually quoted as Pachter speaking is, “They’ll be able to put a lot more characters on the screen and allow for hyperrealistic games".
The next part is not in quotes and it only suggests the hardware is capable of 240FPS.
This was news post was purposed to increase hits to the website.
It's advocacy journalism, so it intentionally adopts a non-objective viewpoint. It is important for a website to have readers, but addressing a controversial topic in this way with less than 900 words is just not great writing. I read it, but I didn't come away with anything other than having read a one-sided opinion which clearly was trying to take advantage of a "hot-topic".
Word: Next-Generation
Definition: pertaining to the next generation in a family; also, pertaining to the next stage of development or version of a product, service, or technology
The Wii-U by definition is Next-Generation as it is a progression of the previous product. I think people need to learn to use words correctly. I'm tired of hearing this.
It has often been complained that big companies like Capcom hurt the industry by milking their existing franchises to death, so I can't help but feel if they had made a Devil May Cry 5 and Devil May Cry 6, would they not be equally under scrutiny?
We have four adventures with the white haired hero, a HD re-release of the first three games and nothing anyone does will take those away. It's a bold risk by Capcom, and love it or hate it, it's not a bad thing for the ...
It is with much regret that Trine 2 sits unplayed in my pile of shame, so I will be sure to check it out once I finish FTL.Thank you for the recommendation Nevers0ft!
I would also like to point out that you see the woman suiting up at the end of the trailer. I don't think this says anything for sexism against women.
I've been using this controller to play Xenoblade Chronicles on my Wii-U.
I had been looking forward to playing this game for a long time, but when I heard you could not backwards play using the gamepad or pro controller, I was super disappointed. I hate that wii controller you have to plug into the Wii-Mote to be wireless.
I then came across this controller which is compatible with Wii&Wii-U. It was the answer to my prayer to play an upscaled Xenobla...
It's a fantastic trailer, but that's it. The game is yet to prove itself.
Every GAME store in Western Australia has closed down.
I was disappointed by the original, and it took months for me to finish it. However,. I really enjoyed XIII-2 a lot. I went in with such low expectations that I had a really good time, and I love that it didn't have a fairy tale ending. However, I can't say I really needed another one, I'm ready for something new, but I'll still play it.
I'm just glad this came early, that way we can focus on bigger things at E3. I want to see a re-branded XIII or XV from...
