The game wasn't that good when it came out, it wasn't any better on the XBLA and im sure it will be exactly the same on the iPhone. Pass.
I don't see why everyone is over-reacting to the battle restart feature. Quite recently when I was in epic battles in Dragon Age and knew it wasnt going anywhere, I would stop and re-load and start again, otherwise I was just wasting my time.
The battle restart option makes total sense and doesn't make anything easier, just gives you an auto save point before the battle so you can load and go back if you screw up and then go at it again.
Convenient more than anything...

I have to disagree with you there. RPG's are very large in scale, and for FFXIII to look the way it does, and be multi-platform is definately setting a new graphical bar for both RPG's and multi-platofrm games.
The 1000 years of Dreams were absolutely amazing.

These kind of review scores make me sad that Silent Hill is on the Wii, a console whose primary audience are casual gamers. As I don't really want a Wii, I guess I will have to settle for the PS2/PSP version. :(
Despite the crazy plot in the second half of Fahrenheit, I thought it was an abosolutely amazing game.
The boxart looks great, and I can't wait for it to hit stores next year!
I see everyone mentioning that they want the original Japanese VA to be included in the Western release, but this time round Square are not including a dub, but are lip syncing the EU/NA versions to the English VA and sound track, so it's not as simple as them flicking it back to japanese which would normally match the mouth movements.
To include the Japanese VA when they have lip synced it to English would make the characters look ridiculous when speaking lol.

I don't see what your disagreeing about. You would rather have an unplayable game, with screen tears, poor frame rate and texture pop-in, just so long as it would come on one disc instead of 2?
