Forget the limited "choice" at the ending.
It was obvious everything was a lot deeper than it appeared. I'm not sure about everything in this video, but it is along the lines of what I saw when I was playing.

I'm playing the worlds smallest violin, just for you guys.
Kevin VanOrd from GameSpot is one of the best game journalists in the business along with Jeff Gerstmann. I feel he should handle the majority of the Action/RPG genre game reviews for GameSpot. I would be more interested to read his opinion.
Scores be damned. Assassins Creed: Revelations is no different to Brotherhood & II in terms of playability and quality. It's just getting low scored because it is now more of the same. - Same deal.
Zelda is always...
AC: Revelations isn't a game that's just dedicated to Ezio though, that's been clear from all the trailers, cover and developer interviews etc.
"Ezio uses relics of the ***** civilization that hold memories of Altaïr to relive his ancestor's experiences, during which players will control Altaïr."
The game will feature both protagonists, not just a small section like in AC:II. They have a bit of an inception style idea going...
I have to agree with Nihilism. I too always get asked if I am European by non-Australians. I don't know many people who speak with the "Stereotype" Australian accent. In fact, I associate that accent to a demographic of people we Australians call "Bogans".
Today I was reflecting on this topic, as on the Radio this morning I was listening to interview with Michelle Rodriguez, and i've heard her before, yet I couldn't get past how strong her amer...
My Top 5, picked from that top 20.
1.Final Fantasy VII (PS)
2.Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (PS2)
3.Final Fantasy X (PS2)
4.Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)
5.Xenogears (PS)
Some real shockers in that list though.
@FantasticMrFoxdie
5.Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (PS2)
Completely deserves to be there. One of the best RPG's I have ever played. If you havn't had a chance, you are missing out.
The Wii is a good platform for what it is, but its not the train I want to catch to Silent Hill.
Develop for 360/PS3, and then port to Wii.
I have refused to download/pirate games. It just takes the value out of the experience. Oh I didn't pay for it, cbf finishing, next pirated game (/repeat).
No sir, I respect the Industry I have so much passion for, and want to be apart of. I buy all my games.
You do realize that a dev studio the size of Square has multiple development teams right?
If they're good enough, they should be able to put out a couple of quality titles at a time.
You have the FFXIII Team, the FFvsXIII team, the FFagitoXIII team, the DragonQuest Team, the Last Remnant Team (as crap as they are) and perhaps a new team for this project. (Also the PSP/DS teams)
Im wasting my life reading these articles and being on these forums right now. These articles just get stupider and stupider.
I will play the game and enjoy it, I like Final Fantasy, It's one of those experiences I have an unconditional love for, and even if it was total sh*t I would still love it, so no point me reading this. So for now im going outside and enjoying my weekend.
Ciao
Square always does things differently each game, I watched the stream aswell and thought it looked great and am still buying day 1.
I play most good RPG's, and I have all my wrpg's for non-liniarity, in which i can loot as much as I want and steal as many candle sticks and peices of cheese as I want.
In terms of FFXIII, its about the story, and I know it will be absolutely great. I read the prequel novel and have seen enough to know it is awesome. FFvXIII will be dif...
A few things to consider.
- PS3 install base in japan is smaller than the ps2 at the time of launch of ffx and fxii.
- 1/4 console owners bought it on day one, this did not happen with ffx/ffxii.
- Japan is just coming out of a recession.
- This is not including the lightning ps2 bundles.
- The weekly sales are not out yet, it can still sell more week to date.
Password has changed, not sure what it is now though. :(
Mmmnnnn... love the smell of a new game! lol
if you have not had a chance to read the FFXIII prequel novel yet, you can find a translated and well presented version of here:

It's a great introduction to the characters and the FFXIII world, and definitely worth a read. (It covers the story of Lightning, Serah, Snow, Hope and Sahz is the couple of weeks before the beginning of the game)
