how hard is it to replace the 360 hard drive? It is as simple as click...click. and you're done. I'm not talking about hacking your hd. that obviously would take longer to do.
mandatory means you do not have a choice. the only way you can play the game is if it is installed on the HD. mgs4 and dozens of the newer games require you to install it, in order to play it. at least you really have the option with the 360 whether to do it or not. and the installs don't effect performance in any way on the 360.
this is a pretty horrible video. but that doesn't excuse the fact the the ps3 version is inferior. It probably was a rushed port. read the reviews on ign and gamespot if you don't believe me.
did you hear that America is in a recession and not everybody can afford a $400 toy. I guess not. and the sales of the 360 hardware are picking up. You guys need to remember the exclusive offerings are the things that drive a consloe's sales. the ps3 just doesn't have system sellers like halo 3 or gears.
It's gonna be epic!!! pun intended.
they gave MGS4 a 10. and they gave gtaIV a 10. that means the ps3 has 2 tens and the 360 has one. how does that make them ps3 haters? just the opposite I think.
maybe this game will get like a bunch of 10s from other sites. OXM occasionally hits a game pretty hard like their 9.5 they gave to GTAIV. Either way this game is going to be revolutionary. I love how you can get gold when you're not even playing the game.
I guess the ps3 hdtv bundles haven't been working too well. They obviously don't want to miss out this holiday season.
this kid is watching way too much superbad
I wonder how you can compare the two versions. It's like comparing assassin's creed ds to the console versions. Which doesn't make a lot of sense btw.
Firstkn1ghT is right about the multi-platform being superior on the 360. I mean look at all the trailers and stage demos are all on the 360. The majority of the gaming industry would choose to make a 360 exclusive before a ps3 one. The development process is also longer even if they know the hardware well on the ps3.
when I went to gamestop all the guys didn't even know how to turn on a 360. I was like "press the middle button on the controller." then they said, "sorry we only have ps3s." Not exaggerating this really happened.
The average 360 owner will never get the RROD. And the ones that do get it scream the loudest about how they've been screwed. I admit I was scared at first of getting a 360 because of these rumors. But when a bunch of my friends get 360s and none of them have gotten the RROD you have to wonder. Just think of it logically If 1/3 of the 360 were getting the RROD then the ps3 would consistently outsell the 360 on 3rd multi-platform software. Which it hasn't btw. And if you still have fears about...
I think sony should cut the price of the 80gb. But it doesn't seem that easy. They wouldn't make a profit because all they have done is throw out the backward compatibility. They haven't optimized the motherboard to make it more cost efficient like microsoft does every year. This year the 360 has the jasper motherboard. The president of sony already said there wouldn't be any more price cuts this year. They plan on riding their exclusives for a while which might work...in the short-run.
considering gears of war has a revolutionary cover system and resistance is a wanna be half-life that doesn't do anything revolutionary. It's not even a AAA game (86 average on metacritic). I think he should respect it.
great another great franchise marred by a crappy movie game. Maybe it's a good thing halo never made a movie.
I totally agree with you bouncybullet. Sony doesn't have a innovative bone in their body. The only thing new they do is use a new disk drive every generation...good job. The only reason they got to the top is by stealing nintendo's ideas. That's why the "killer app" of the ps3 mgs4, is made by a third party company.
I think next generation will be about cost-efficiency and not about uber awesome technology. It will get better graphically, but expect more innovation over graphics next generation. Graphically there isn't too much to improve unless you move on to huge games, true photo-realistic graphics with naitive 1080p. Which is costing developers already a huge sum of money already. The economy simply isn't what it used to be.
Gamespot said it they saw a video and it looked very gamecubish. I hope they release it for $30 like RE4. Then I would pick it up.
is something supposed to be different? I even paused the video they are Identicle.
