well saying the cpus are equal doesn't mean Ps3 is equal in power to the 360 (vis a versa). There is many things to take into account like the GPU, the hard disk speed, the RAM speed/ amount.
yeah I tried to kill captain keyes the original halo and they sent invincible troops against me. I wouldn't call this (in killzone2) a secret or anything special.

Sorry you're wrong PCs have many MMOs. And Blizzard just announced they have 11M subscribers in WOW. Steam also has over 15M accounts and growing at a crazy state with L4D (I have one). And Bioware is going to release SW: The Old Republic soon. As of now Consoles still can't support MODS.
funny you should say that didn't Sony copy motion control and Avatars for HOME first (even if HOME came out after NXE).
I thought it was a great game but the online disappointed me, it just was laggey. And the single player was okay but it paled in comparison to the multiplayer.
I couldn't even get through the campaign once. BTW I really tried to like this game but I couldn't. This game really couldn't keep a decent framerate. And most of the texture are crap except for faces that look nice after they pop-in. Basically, this game would have been good in the year 2000. But after 2001 (when the original halo came out) this game couldn't even achieve last gen's standards.
You have some valid points about the combat being slow. But you completely missed the reason of why it's slow. It is an RPG, not a "run and gun FPS." It's about strategy. From what I've played of it, (yes on a ps3) I think it deserves at least a 9. Vats is simply incredible. On the graphics, it does seem bland, but that was intentional for the atmosphere of the game.

yeah the original xbox had a few more good years left. It's a shame microsoft discontinued them so quickly after the 360 launch.
I think this is due to the recession more than sony's efforts. Since they now have good games coming down the tube. If the recession gets worse then everybody's profits are going to tank. And sony still has the only console that they don't make a profit on.

I'm sure they're taking this "quote" out of context. But if something doesn't provide me with any use besides entertainment yeah it's a toy.
As for killzone 2 scoring less than halo 3, even IGN agrees with them on that. Arguably, graphics is the least important aspect to a game in the reviewing process. And let's just face it, Killzone 2 isn't original. It borrows heavily form COD4 and TF2 for it's class-based multiplayer, and COD4 for it's campaign. Maybe that's why LBP was given a 10 (and GOTY) by edge. Well at least they know mgs4>Killzone2.

Just because everybody isn't slobbering over killzone 2 or the other ps3 exclusives doesn't mean they are sony biased. Tell me something- what is so hard about RESPECTING OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINION. yeah If you want to examine a review: READ IT!!!!! The score is just a number that represents a quick estimate of quality.
No I'm pretty sure the 360 outsold the ps3 hardware and software in 08. Not by much but the ps3 sold less this year than in 07 even though they had mgs4, LBP, R2 etc.
