anyway on topic, things are looking up for the 360. Jaspers will be in full production.Another price drop will come.And there is plenty of software they haven't announced. You can't honestly think Microsoft has been planning expansions to fuel 2009, unlike sony, they don't show all their cards before they want to make their move at E3 or TGS, for holiday sales.

I don't have anything against the ps3, it's an awesome piece of hardware. But I don't like Sony. I have never seen so much arrogance in my life. It's their own fault that they are in last place. Microsoft must have really gotten under their skin last gen with games like halo that weren't possible on the ps2. Then they added a hard drive and 5.1 surround sound etc to the xbox. Then they were like I'll show you. Then they made the ps3. But they forgot about the 3rd party that fueled their sales...

Sales are everything. Developers see the 360 doing well they will jump at the chance to develop for it. Sony can't carry it's console on it's own and 3rd party have already jumped on the 360 bandwagon. Rockstar, Capcom, and SE already have. Kanomi has stayed with sony, but eventually they will crack under the recession. And they'll start thinking about survival over friendships.
there's nothing advanced about spreading your code across 8 SPEs. It is the most inefficient way to code a game. On top of that the cell is a very powerful single core cpu, but it's still single-core.

I wonder if the cutscenes are going to be in-game or CGI. I was expecting it to at least match mgs4, what a disappointment. I guess somebody else is having a hard time with the ps3's architecture. btw this game isn't in it's early stages of development they started in 2007 and it's almost 2009. It's more in the middle development cycle.
Believe it or not some people could care less about bluray or 7.1 surround sound. And they just want to play a lot of good games at a low price. Those people would buy the 360 over the ps3. When features become the selling point of a console and not it's exclusive games you get the ps3. That's the main reason why great games on the ps3 sell like average games (with the exception of mgs4).

Almost every major FPS since halo has had a regenerating health. But lets just pick on gears. Because well were depressed, because HOME sucks and well... sucks some more.
a disc-based system is so year 2000. Digital distribution is the future. Well unless you believe a walkman is better than an ipod. All that disc space and they still need to install games, what a pity.
what game are you talking about? there is no GTA III san. there's GTA III and GTA: San Andreas. Anyway I haven't heard any valid arguments of why gta IV is a bad game. I hear "it's not fun" or "it's boring." Geez if MGS4 magically was multiplatform the droids would say it's crap and LBP should be GOTY.
