Double post...server issues apparently

"could" and "possibility" are about as pointless as Insomniac saying "we're trying for 1080p"; we all know how THAT turned out.

I love my Joust and Dig Dug, because those are the old quarter-eaters I played when I was younger. But I don't recall even seeing Rally-X in an arcade...don't think I would've played it if I had. Now if they were to do Q-bert and Crystal Castles, I'd be giddy as a school girl...but otherwise, I'm ready for more new stuff, that makes use of the 360 hardware and LIVE.

For $12, I can get a 6-pack of rechargeable batteries, that will last me well over a year, at several HUNDRED gaming hours.
PS360Wii just sounds a tad anal/OCD..."clutter" from something that has practical uses for MULTIPLE DEVICES? That's retarded.

...and I've been wanting that game for a long time now. I was originally releasing back in the early summer, but without online play. They decided to add online, and release it later...hopefully by the end of the year.

How lazy do you have to be, if you can't take 15 secs to swap batteries? Hell, I had my Energizer recharge station looong before I got my 360; I have 3 remotes, two cameras, an mp3 player, flashlights, and 2 garage door openers that all will take rechargeable batteries.

...you'll never have to THROW AWAY your 360 controller, because of a dead/defective battery.
If you're too lazy to take 15 secs to swap batteries, as needed, you have issues.

They've been pushing 1080p standard for months now, and their flagship system-seller can't even pull if off. LOL...MS will have a field day with this one.

"Wii-beating"...oh, that's rich. :p

What point are you trying to make exactly? The 360 gives you a choice of a wired controller, for $30 (and yes, alot of people still prefer wired), or a wireless controller which can use standard, or rechargable batteries. You don't even NEED the play-n-charge kit...it's just a pointless accessory. I've had the same Energizer rechargable batteries since last November, and I can still get about 5 hours of hardcore gaming out of a pair between chargings, and always have 4 fresh ones ready on ...

...at disposable controllers.

I honestly didn't realize the PS3 "SUXASSES" used MP3 player tech. They should've done like MS, and given you the option to just use standard batteries, or buy your own rechargable ones. I already had my Energizer charger, and about a dozen batteries, for my various remotes, digital camera, etc. I never have to worry about needing to exchange my controller.

"They are as exactly as they were," said Harrison, claiming that Sony preferred the games in their original form.

So....Sony prefers games that are largely inferior to competitor's versions, with poor framerate, lower polygon counts, and jaggies out-the-ass? Who knew? :|

It's just Sony being Sony again, desperately trying to discredit their competitor's product, rather than fix what's wrong with their own.

Sony....lower the price of your system, and you win this battle. PERIOD. All other tactics are futile, and only serve to make you look bad (worse) in the public eye.

I read the first part of the article at IGN, and it said Kaz Hirai made fun of himself, and the infamous "Riiiiiiiidge Raaaaaceeer!". :D At least he has a sense of humor.

...but I still feel for fans that couldn't afford, or weren't planning on buying a Wii anytime soon. Bad Nintendo, bad.

I take it this schmuck is the U.K.'s version of Jack Thompson? :O

Of course, some of the blame has to be placed on the developers too.

...not even the same body of water. :|

I currently own 13 X360 games, and have sold/traded about 8 others. My time and monetary investment at this point, is MUCH more than yours. Again, I'm fine with my choice, but I have much more of a reason to complain than someone like yourself.
How will you feel if they release a kickass X-MAS bundle (and they will), and you realize you got "screwed" out of an additional $50 or so, by not waiting a couple more months? ...

7081d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

You waited 10 months to buy your 360. If you've been following gaming news, like a responsible gamer/consumer, you'd know this has been in the "rumor mill" for MONTHS. That you waited all this time, only to cave in almost a year after the launch...with price changes and/or SKU upgrades likely...is ENTIRELY your fault.
I pre-ordered mine last June, so I'd have it on Nov. 22nd. I didn't want to wait, because Oblivion and Gears of War were SUPPOSEDLY going to be launch titl...
