We were posting basically the same thing at the same time, apparently. Of course, the blind lemmings like 'PS3 Fan' will believe anything they read. ;)
The 360 was in extremely short supply from Nov 2005 to about March 2006 ; the U.S. got the lion share of the launch consoles, followed by Europe, Japan, and Australia.
Sony, on the otherhand, didn't do a worldwide launch, and made Europe wait a full 5 months, due to supply issues. By the time the PS3 launched in Europe, those that still wanted one after waiting all that time simply went out and bought one. There's no doubt the sales will see a sharp drop after the first month or so...
...but as usual, you'd have been better off just shutting the f*ck up.
This is a completely optional SKU, designed ENTIRELY for those who are interested in the optimum HD content experience, as well as the content available through Marketplace. This has NO effect on gaming...PERIOD.
...we've known this for several months now. In fact, if you've followed the 360 peripherals news, you know that NOBODY has been allowed to make wireless peripherals for the 360 yet.
Sony CAN'T have a unified friend's list, because they don't have a structured online format for all their games, like LIVE. MS mandates that any title created for their platforms, utilize the LIVE tools, at LEAST for online status/friend's list. Sony doesn't even HAVE a standardized online toolset, which is why so many devs have dropped online play for PS3 versions of multiplatform games.
Bethesda has been lying all along about improving the pop-in of vegetation on the PS3 version of Oblivion ; it looks EXACTLY THE SAME. This game was a direct port....NOTHING MORE.
Which would be 46 FOOT. 0_o
The 360 controller can be used with a PC, so this proves NOTHING. Not to say that there's no 360 version in the works....because it likely is, since EA is publishing.....but this is certainly not proof of anything. :o
...and all this time, I thought the GAMES were what distinguished a console. Silly me. ;)
You're as naive and moronic as the dumbasses signing the petition. This won't affect Capcom ONE BIT.
...it's not even the same scenario...AT ALL.
Bungie is OWNED by MS, so all of their games are exclusive to MS platforms (XBOX/PC). CAPCOM, on the other hand, has never been 100% brand/console exclusive....they've primarily done timed exclusives, based on a "highest bidder" scenario, or other business factors. These Sony fanboys crying about "loyalty", obviously haven't been paying attention the past several years:
- Resident Evil : A franchi...
...that is truly pathetic. 0_o
...are a f*cking moron. An engine has NOTHING to do with art direction, or how good a game "looks". NO-THING. :o
Some of the textures look really flat, and some sceens look more like concept art. It actually reminds me a lot of 'Stranglehold', in terms of design and presentation, with the UE3-powered 'Stranglehold' having a slight edge. It still sounds/looks cool, but certainly not mindblowing by any means.
Short for MicroSoft Network. And people think MS hates Sony. ;)
Simple.....because they've already been FORCED to wait for 5 months, for no good reason, and they're sick of "waiting".
The 360 has already made his company about $150 million, and the 360 version of UT3 will outsell the PS3 version by a HUGE MARGIN. Add to that, the fact that he's already stated he doesn't see a PS3 exclusive coming from EPIC, and his comments are mindboggling. Somebody from MSGS needs to remind Mark that the legacy of the PS2, and Sony's dominance is pretty much in the past, and his loyalties are very misplaced. :o
Thank you, Sir Dusk....always the voice of reason and wisdom. ;)
...that made no sense AT ALL. 0_o
Anybody know of a better quality version of this video?
