...those first 2 screens look A-MA-ZING!!!! :D
J/K...But seriously, this game WILL be incredible.
...and more retailers should rebel like this, IMO.
When a game is ported from another platform, and it's over a YEAR LATER, retailers know the buzz, hype, and interest is largely over with. The majority of gamers who really wanted to play that game, likely already has. Couple that with the fact that the PS3 version still won't have a confirmation of all the other downloadable content for several months, and there's really not much that will sell this game, like on the 360/PC...
...as long as nobody's BUYING the overpriced p.o.s. :)
Consider this: Sony tried to push the PS3 on the consumer as well, and it backfired....BIG-TIME. So, they had to fall back on their trusty PS2, because it's the only moneymaker they have in the gaming sector, ATM. See? ANYTHING can be twisted into a negative. :o
...is the likely reason for the delay, as with every other multiplatform title that's been delayed for PS3 thus far. Yep, that Sony online is free....and COMPLETELY WORTHLESS.
...and equal to gameplay quality. After Gears of War, this is a question people should no longer be asking...especially when it's using the same engine.
Considering the apparent interest/demand the Elite has, and a price drop on the core/premium coming soon after, you'd have to be a damn fool to have bought a 360 in the past 6 weeks. Chances are, with all of the quality titles coming out EXCLUSIVELY for the 360 in the next 6 months ( Mass Effect, Forza 2, Two Worlds, Elveon, Bioshock, Too Human, Halo 3, Blue Dragon, Fable 2, PGR4, Huxley, and Alan Wake) , and a console price drop to boot, the last 2 qtrs of '07 will belong to MS.
I ...
....and it nuked Sony, like it was August 1945 all over again.
Look again. The pic shown is from TOCA 3, the last entry in the series, from PS2/XBOX. NOTHING has been shown for RDO yet. ;)
...he's talking about the Vision cam/ Eye Toy support. :o
...these screens are not "new". :o
...unless you enjoy watching someone demo the 360 wireless racing wheel. You can't really see enough of the actual game to make it worthwhile. :o
...but, are you really that ignorant? :o
MS = PC, so how is this surprising?
...Sony said other games were "only possible with the power of PS3", such as:
- Assassin's Creed
- Virtua Fighter 5
- DMC 4
- Killzone 2 (Talking about footage which was ACTUALLY not even possible on the PS3...but was 100% PC-created CGI.
Factor 5 might as well be a Sony in-house dev, because they're so full of themselves, and ate up with the Sony BS, it's pathetic.
XP came out in late 2001, so this only makes sense. Hell, they stuck with XP a lot longer than any other OS, so whiners need to STFU. :o
That's all I needed to read, to know this person is a complete moron, and not worth my time. :o
...I don't think there's much chance I'll spend over 75 hours on an expansion, so I'm not worried. :o
...was in the VERY FIRST POST....by yours truly. ;)
But,just so you know, your credibility in the gaming industry, died along with Diakatana. :o
...this is an easy one:
- Banjo Kazooie 3
- Blue Dragon (sold 300k 360s in Japan)
- Kameo 2 ( yes, it's worth mentioning...Kameo still looks better than R&C:Future)
- Lost Odyssey
- Trusty Bell
- Fable 2
- Huxley
- ... and several other yet-to-be named Japanese projects, aimed at that very demographic you refer to.
The thing is, the games you listed, have always been Sony mainstays, so they will only be purch...
