Amazon Prime member here. I paid $31.99. That is a more fitting price point.
Got a 4K TV a few weeks back. Have my Pro on order. Read through some of the comments. Remember, you don't need a 4K TV to see benefits from the Pro. One of the main reasons I'm getting one is PSVR. I think what is a very good experience now with PSVR will be even better with the Pro.
I can't wait to see new info on God of War and what that will look like in 4K HDR!
Question. My son will be getting my current PS4. I have a 2TB HD in it. I know Sony has m...
To all Scorpio peeps. On paper the Scorpio will be more powerful. Excellent. But no matter how powerful it may be I will never be able to play God of War and Zero Dawn on it. So, that's why I'll take my sub par PS4 Pro and I'll be happy.
Now THAT was epic!
Nintendo just does not want to play with Sony and MS. They want to stay niche. Oh well. I'm sure they will sell millions of units but this is just not in the same league as the rest of the console world.
Just watched it. I'll pass. Thanks.
That's why I just bought a 4K tv with HDR 10!(fyi make sure if you are looking to get a 4k tv it is HDR 10 compatible! Don't buy an older or less expensive model because it is cheaper. You need the HDR.)
I believe the Pro will be a viable platform for another 3 to 4 years. I'll be happy with that.
Been using mine daily since release day. I have to say it has exceeded my expectations and I can see a huge potential for certain types of games to really become incredibly immersive. I am very curious to see when I get the Pro in Nov if there is any performance boost in VR.
About motion sickness. I have experienced minor issues but they have always been appropriate to the experience. Meaning, I have had the same feeling in my head and stomach on the roller coaster in Until Dawn ...
With the correct game/software the experience is amazing. There were some things on the demo disc or free that didn't sound very interesting and then I tried them. VR Playroom is awesome. Allumette was incredible. I cannot wait for more stories to be told like this. Tumble VR. I tried the demo and then bought the game at 1:00 am. I stayed up and played it until 4:00 am.
Batman is amazing. EVE Valkyrie is awesome. The demo for RIGS was great but I literally have run out o...
Finally got around to unboxing mine late last night. Only got to play a few quick demos. Can't wait to spend some more time with he headset this weekend.
Respect to the Sony packaging engineers. The box that holds the headset is amazing.
I hope they eventually bring it to consoles like Smite. Smite is absolutely fantastic.
VIKINGS!!!!
Yay! October has too many games already. This gives The Last Guardian some breathing room. Plus it may be getting some "Pro" treatment too.
Started gaming in 1976 on a Telstar hooked up to an old b&w TV from the 60s. Didn't get color TV in my home until later that year ('76) but the Telstar was in the basement on the old tv. The 2600 I got was hooked up to the color tv, yes. My PSN ID is ThorNH68. 68 was the year I was born. I'm certainly not ancient but I've been around to see most things regarding video games. No offense taken.
There are two games that I cannot wait to see in 4k/HDR. God of War and Final Fantasy VII: Remake.
It is very difficult to explain or show VR with a youtube video and the same goes for 4k/HDR. Unless you experience it on the the correct equipment it is not necessarily going to be very impressive. I started playing video games on a black and white TV (for those young people out there, yes, tv was only black and white and we had, if you were lucky, 5 or 6 channels that came in "clearly") so this stuff looks amazing to me. I get the technical stuff and the fact that the PS4 Pro i...
I still like the game. Play it every day for a bit. Definitely play it differently than I did day one but I am still finding new things, specifically animals. I guess I'm in the minority but I enjoy it.
If that's the case than Atari still owes me for E.T.
There is no proper planet rotation. If you land on a planet on the light side and wait there is a day/night cycle. If you then launch into space on the dark side the star in the system will indeed be on the other side of the planet. However, the planet itself does not rotate. The skybox that contains the image of the star and the background graphics rotates. There were two planets visible in the daytime sky when I landed. The same two planets were in the same exact location in the sky a...
Smite! I'm a Smite addict and may need help.
