Time to take some selfies with the boy!
As great as this fight is I found myself more invested in the story this time around then the epic set piece events. The surprise reveals, etc. are what blew me away. There's a sequence in the game I'll never forget. One of my favorite moments ever playing a video game. So happy I avoided all spoilers.
The real competition is actually between Sony and Nintendo BUT the exclusives are more complimentary between the two systems so both will be able to thrive. Kratos and Mario are legends that don't have to compete head to head. They're for different people. MS has not been able to carve out a specific enough niche and has relied heavily on third party offerings to keep it competitive. That simply cannot compete with a system that has the exact same third party support and vastly su...
I must be a shallow meat head but I consider Kratos one of the greatest video game characters of all time. What SSM has done with the new iteration has propelled him to Legendary status.
And, I never understood why Ascension got such a bad rap. I enjoyed it as much as any of the other games.
I am so happy I avoided all spoilers for this game. Those epic moments only happen once. I would have been so damn upset if I had seen this image a few days ago.
I have completed the main story and now I'm working on all the side quests. Got another 20 hours of game play easily. The Valkyries are my top priority. Having a blast figuring out how to beat each one.
Good because they need to start immediately on the next game. I've been gaming for 40+ years and this game has moved the bar pretty high. It's truly a masterpiece in so many ways. There are so many great moments but one part of the game made the game go from epic to legendary for me. Amazing experience so far. Still have tons of stuff to do to finish it.

Basically my life all week.
God of War is now officially preloaded on my 3 PS4s. No matter where my wife chases me I'll be able to play :)
Listening to the soundtrack on Spotify.
Stone Mason Edition incoming on Friday.
I'm ready.
My favorite franchise. My favorite publisher. My favorite mythology. It's going to be a great day on Friday.
So, we all pretty much know the 2018 and 2019 Sony first party exclusives.
2018
God of War
Detroit
Spider-Man
Dreams(probably)
2019
Days Gone
The Last of Us 2
Death Stranding (maybe)
Maybe there will be a surprise or two left but I think 2019 probably is the last year of huge exclusives for PS4. I think the writing is on the wall for a PS5 in 2020. I expect a good E3 from ...

Odin's beard, my nerdometer is at maximum nerd right now! Spider-Man release date reveal tomorrow, freaking God of War in 17 days and then Infinity War. I can't handle all of this!
I'll get hell for this but I like Ubisoft. They've made some huge mistakes over the years but seem to care more, in general, than Activision or EA.
Finally a game I don't own already! Yay! I have no idea when I am going to play it though. Once 4/20 hits it will be Kratos 24/7.
What we all don't know is when Thanos is about to end Captain Rogers Kratos is going to come out of nowhere and kick Thanos' ass! Now that would be a great crossover event!
I expect a full Skull & Bones reveal from Ubisoft at E3 this year. Let's hope they learned plenty of lessons from For Honor and make a killer pirate game. Hopefully Rare will actually add some more worthwhile content and make Sea of Thieves a viable experience. Considering it's only a PvP experience though they don't have much time before everyone just goes back to PUBG or Fortnite.
I'm guessing the author of this article should stay far, far away from Death Standing when it comes out.
