Total Sony fanboy here. Legitimately sad that MS cannot give their supporters more. I DO NOT understand how Phil Spencer can hype something up SO much knowing what is about to be shown is not going to be worthy of the hype. He is the ULTIMATE salesman. Personally wanted to see more of Hellblade.
I've been around and/or purchased consoles at system launch since Telstar days and, only my opinion here, but "system launch" games are games that are new and unique to the new console. They are not available to be played anywhere else or on any other system. If he is including previous generation games as "system launch" then the statement is disingenuous and misleading.
I will just predict now that if the Series X could fly you to the moon and back while providing 360 fps/8k gameplay at the end of the generation PS5 sales will out number Series X 2:1 or 3:1. Sony will continue to support and produce PS4 for a few more years because some people may be happy just to buy into that generation of systems for cheap and play the thousands of games available. MS pulls the plug and your only option is to buy a brand new system to play current generation games. I do not have evidence as I write this but I'm pretty sure MS did the same thing last generation. Took off Friday to fully enjoy as many hours as I can. This is the last AAA First Party PS4 game. Time really flies. It has been an amazing ride and it looks like it is going to end with a truly epic adventure.
And in 2015 MS bought Havok which is used industry wide. What's the big deal? It's not like Unreal 5 is going to be exclusive to Playstation. The stuff people argue over is amazing sometimes.
I'm definitely a Sony guy but I honestly want MS to have a good show. Hey, if there are some really good exclusives it might tempt me into getting a Series S or whatever the digital only version of the console will be. I have a mid-level gaming PC with a RTX 2070 Super GPU. It cost me about $1,500. Sure I can do PC stuff on it but I have always felt a dedicated console is the best for gaming.
Sony keeps talking value and I agree. Spider-Man: Miles Morales should come with every launch PS5.

The Blu-ray version looks more symmetrical horizontally and the digital version looks more symmetrical vertically. Very interesting design all around. Personally, I prefer both versions in the vertical position.

Do you know what the biggest issue is for Sony fans like me with the poor MS show yesterday? The PS5 price. Why you ask?
