I hope that people don't send him death threats this time; how awful. Can't they respect that this is going to be his _final_ MGS game? I would also like the series to come to a conclusion, which I believe it will... dun dun dunnn
Nor did it mention the getaway preview... hmmm...
almost clicked on that one lol, before I realised
Explosions look nice, characters look alright, trees aren't great, and lighting's pretty poor. If these are what they're releasing as bullshots, then the game is NOT going to look any better than this, even with the extra development time. Though you never know, they might surprise me with this one.
Oh dear. The wii controller vibrates as well doesn't it?
We should really compare GT5 to Forza3/PGR5 when they come out because I'm sure they won't be released that many months after the full GT5, and both Forza 2 and PGR4 have been out a while now. Still, one wonders if the X360 has indeed reached its graphical peak with those games. I'm sure there's _always_ ways to improve, but could they look better than GT5?
Whiiing!!!!!
Yes it was excellent.
No store content update this week or next though.
Well it _could_ be, but to be honest, we haven't seen any gameplay have we? Whereas we have for Killzone 2, MGS4, littlebigplanet. And yes all three are looking awesome.
Why do mechs bleed in MGS??
Actually looking at the page, it was supposedly posted on 31st march...
Yeah it's one thing to do an april fool's joke about colonising mars (google lol), but a joke that is just "oh we have new information on a highly anticipated game..... ha! we don't really! april fool!!" isn't really funny at all, especially since we know that this game IS still in development. Of course this could be a real preview in which case, it's looking good.
3rd of april doesn't sound like mid-april to me. And we're meant to miss out on 2 store updates until the new store comes.
I don't want or care for in-game XMB. I don't have proper speakers for my tv :( so music (especially drum n bass) without a subwoofer sounds rubbish. I have a music system that I play music on. Maybe when more of my friends actually manage to scrape enough together to buy a PS3 I might be glad of in-game messaging, but about the only thing this would change for me is making it prettier when I press the PS button during a game ;)
Is it just me or does anyone else see that there are many ways that the graphics can be improved on this game? Namely:
1) Jaggies
2) Trees (they're god awful)
3) Some of the people in the stands are just cardboard cutouts
4) In the rear-view and wing mirrors the quality is seriously degraded
5) Texture quality on some of the grass
6) Slowdown during replays when there are >10 cars on screen
7) Jagged shadows across dashboard
8) Sometim...
To everyone saying "this is just blu-ray sales what about the downloads", I actually doubt that the download numbers are that high, main reason being that it's more expensive AND you have to be signed into PSN to play and can only play the game with the one account. For people who have siblings who also want to play through the game themselves, this wouldn't work.
April fool! lol
Surely if _everything_ was adjusted to meet currency fluctuations, then there'd be no point in having different currencies. The 'value' of the dollar is only what it's traded at against the pound. Different goods and services have different prices in different regions because, well, you don't have a choice in the matter. Of course if I buy games on steam, it's in dollars, and I get a really great deal most of the time :D
Dr Kawashima's Brain Training at no 6. omg. Who buys this?
Why did PS3 outsell 360 last year then?
