Yeah you can't help but love sackboy (or sackgirl but I think it's just sackboy with a wig lol). Sackboy alone would carry LBP into the millions of sales.
I am VERY pleased about the split-screen. From what I can see, the screen can be split both horizontally and vertically, and there are also up to 6 AI opponents in a split-screen race. (None of this GT5P lameness with no AI opponents, or any of the other hundreds of games this gen without bots)

Yep sony really fails with the number of singstar titles. I thought the PS3 singstar was meant to stop all these pointless iterations, so you can choose your songs. As it is they are just putting off PS2 owners from getting the PS3 and its version of singstar.

Omega4 you just contradicted yourself. First you say that no home release date means that it's going to be delayed again, then you say that they won't announce the release date because germans don't play online so much? If your second statement is true then they wouldn't have announced it even if it wasn't delayed.
The game looks very nice. Only thing is it has a lot of detail but they spoil it slightly in the indoor environments by making it so dark and blurry. Though I suppose that's the effect they're going for, games aren't very fun if you can't see what you're doing.
Shame they can't think of anything for the action sequences but quick-time events, but oh well, I suppose this game is more of an interactive story than any action game.

Now I see why MS didn't have a press conference. Sony shouldn't really have had one either, just let the few announcements that there are trickle out over the week. Oh and the 160GB PS3 should have all the features of the original launch 60GB in the states, but oh well.

Yes unfortunately sony are putting their development efforts into casual games like eyepet, buzz and endless singstar iterations for PS2, instead of highly anticipated, cancelled games like getaway and 8 days.
Wow now that IS good news. I never played the original so I don't know. (Never even heard of it until I heard Killzone II was on its way lol) If they can get this level of graphical detail in any one of those settings it will be truly awesome.

What do you mean by "CG quality"? PS3 graphics are far beyond most pre-rendered stuff from the PS1 era. And go and watch toy story. Ratchet and clank has superior graphics. And I don't know why you would say the graphics "loook like shiat" [sic] when they are clearly over and above any offering on the 360.
EDIT: Hey, why disagrees? I've been playing medievil recently. I have a 2000 (?) guiness book of records which says it has the best graphics in a video game...
The grey makes the BRIGHT RED BARREL stick out like a sore thumb. I don't know why they still have big explosive barrels in games nowadays. It does look gorgeous, but I really want to see some more environments beyond the first level. I hope it's not all like this.
If you think about it, sony has wised up a little. If you've noticed, they are now announcing games that are to be released next year, some of them early next year. And yes, we might have known about these before (e.g. heavy rain) but they weren't officially announced. Same with uncharted 2, we know it's coming, the devs have confirmed this, but nothing's been shown or announced. They have games in hand so that if microsoft were to try and steal the show, they can just announce a couple of ex...
