LOL tweak of an INI file. Okay, I think we're done listening to you.
I like how all the armchair developers in this forum are trying to explain how easy it should be when actual developers are now stating it's like developing for a whole other console. Apparently people that know nothing (N4G users) know more than actual developers.
He mentioned that it was different. Biggest difference being that MS took care of the consoles that broke for people. Sony didn't. It was pretty simple to understand what he was saying if you take off the glasses. For instance. I mentioned earlier that I had 2 RROD xbox's and 2 YLOD ps3's. My RROD happened within 3 years on my xbox so MS replaced them. My YLOD's happened in the 2nd year of my first PS3 and sony did not compensate me. The 2nd YLOD ps3 I had was already used so ...
I had 2 xbox's go RROD and 2 ps3's go YLOD. It does happen unfortunately
Edit: Mind you, i'm only talking RROD here. In total I had about 5 360's. Those DVD drives were almost as garbage as their cooling config.
Not saying there aren't overly passionate zealous nuts praising the 360, but do you really believe the Sony camp has no overly passionate nuts in it? It's called being a fanboy, and unfortunately there are tons of them. 90% of articles like this only have fanboys posting in them.....(not saying much for myself here)
I agree. The device selling the most does not equal the best device. It does however tend to be the most attractive to the largest group of people so being the BEST is not an easy question to answer.
What's to say developers won't be lazy with the base model now and concentrate on the Neo model? This definitely has some very real worries associated with it that I think people are ignoring. Just like most console generations, developers choose a console as the lead platform and that platform gets the most optimization. What if the Neo model gets optimized now and the base PS4 gets the port with loads of bugs or framerate issues, whereas if there was only one ps4, they would have mo...
I have a Gear VR and I agree to an extent. The nice thing about the Gear VR is that it's untethered so there is no cables. I can stand with it and turn around as many times as I want. With the PSVR/Oculus you are tethered to your PC/Console so you're either standing in place or sitting in place. This is why I'm waiting for next gen with hopes that it'll be a little more free roam.
@Overload
Was sunset not exclusive to the xbox? Was sunset not a new IP?
People, it's Overload. Let's not feed the troll.
If you have all different version of VR then yeah I'm sure a difference could be noticed. As far as choice goes, I believe Vive, Oculus, and PSVR will all deliver acceptable VR. If you already have a PS4 then it's a no brainer to just get the PSVR. I PC game, but would have to spend $300-500 on a new gpu and THEN spend $600-$800 on an oculus or Vive. The plus side to PC will be third party/homebrew support. The PSVR will obviously only work for Sony approved applications unless the ru...
What consumers are they "tricking" ? I don't think anybody makes purchasing decisions based on these companies PR shenanigans.
Until they start counting digital sales, I'm afraid any sales figures that are released no longer really matter on either system. Almost everybody I know buys digital now.
What is the point of this article even? Should we make an article for every game pointing out all of the characters' sexual preferences? Such clickbait
@Bobafret They have their own in their mouths. Leaves plenty of room for yelling.
lol, ps4, good graphics. Build a PC if you care about graphics so much. The xbox is a chihuahua and the playstation is a lhasa apso. Neither are capable of any real power.
@SoulMikeY
Don't mind mad-dog, he's just got a little garfunkel in his mouth
@fastNslowww - go find a bridge
While I appreciate the look of the dev kits, I have to disagree. I myself would love one, but I'm also a bit of a geek. Most casual players want something small and simple.
Is it? I fully expect that in the future we will see consoles sail far beyond 10 tflop. Or are you talking about this generation?
