I should add that regardless of my comments, I'm still only interested in the ps5 since I have a gaming PC. I just won't let my preference blind me to all of the Xbox's advantage. That box will be damn amazing. Just not enough of an upgrade for me since I can play their exclusives already.
And xsx has vrs so it only has to draw what's on screen while ps5 has to draw everything offscreen. Great to load textures super fast. They'll need that without proper VRS.

Why did you pay for off the shelf parts this gen? As long as they stick with x86 architecture, we'll likely be seeing variants of off the shelf parts. I'm okay with this as developers will have an easier time making use of the power without a new learning curve every generation.

What I don't get is why PS4 owners are even concerned about this at all and commenting all over the threads. If you don't want it, great. You don't have to use it. At this point, the majority of games supporting cross play give you the option of using it or not. It's not like you'd be forced to play with the AWFUL xbox crowd if you don't want to. For those that do want to however, it would be a great addition for them to be able to play with the friends they want. Yes ...

Assuming you play a game more than 5 minutes at a time, it shouldn't be a big deal.
While I think the NES classic is cool, but I find it staggering how popular of an item it is. I've been emulating games going on 15+ years now and have always had my own choice of controller to use. I think sometimes we techies are spoiled with our ability to do these things that it takes the fun out of it. I really do wish I felt the excitement as I have a few friends that are going crazy over theirs..... sitting 6 feet away from the box......with an extremely limited library.

This. I went a few years before even playing tlou 1. While I knew the general premise, I paid zero attention to people the hype and people talking about it when it came out. Years later it was still a great experience. Spoilers have released for a lot of games without such a hissy. Don't read them for crying out loud. Issue resolved.
