Instead of Dreams 2.0. Let's get Reality 1.0. Announce games coming out in the next year and leave the hype behind for games 2+ years away. This goes for all major platforms. It's like seeing a movie preview 2 years before release. Builds major hype for a few months to get fanboys bickering and then.......crickets.

And some times studios would miss a ton of money by developing exclusive titles. Look at COD. How many copies sold to every platform it sells on? I'm willing to bet every studio would love to have the same sales that COD receives every year. The only way to even have a chance to match those sales is to be multiplat.

To all the people saying Dead Rising 4. Do you really think it's going to be a remake of DR1 called DR4? I sincerely hope not. If they're remaking/remastering a game then I hope it's from the OG xbox days or something from a third party publisher that wasn't on xbox before. Anything from the 360 days I think isn't worth remaking. Might as well just give it BC and call it a day. MS shouldn't be wasting money on remasters of games from just last gen.

Trouble with fans and MS this generation is that people complain they don't have enough exclusives on their system. When they lock down an exclusive we get "Yay! Less gamers get to play a game -_-". Either way there is whining.
I'm sure it will become mainstream. Probably around Oculus/PSVR/Vive 3.0. I honestly expect hugely mixed emotions with the current gen VR. Until we have a good method of low latency wireless transfer of video/audio to the headsets, I'm not convinced. Once I can just put a headset on and go into my back yard and walk around a virtual environment, give me a call.
