idk, I have both a ps4 and a xb1 and I still care about BC. Having new games to play doesn't keep me from enjoying previously purchased games with my friends. All on one console to boot. Makes the wife happy to keep the living room space uncluttered with old consoles.
Wouldn't this be kind of like how the ps4 NEO will look better and the base ps4 will get the watered down version?

that $400 machine may do 1080/60 but it still won't be the same quality as a 970 at 1080/60. My goodness, when did resolution and framerate become the metric for how good a game looks? We could have all be playing Mario and pacman in 1080/60 years ago and it would still look like ass. 1080/60 is just a resolution and framerate people. There is SO MUCH more that has to go into making a good looking game.
