To be honest, 900p vs 1080p really isn't a huge deal when gaming on a tv and i've always defended this position. However, I've recently moved to playing on a 27" monitor and the differences become much easier to notice. Matching the resolution dot-for-dot from the source to the screen is a more pleasant experience for sure.

Right. I believe I said similar and didn't say equal unless I'm not reading my last comment correctly. I would only hope that a ps3 version of a game wouldn't be equal in performance or visuals to a proper pc or ps4 version of said game.
Don't most games regardless of being crossplay look similar on the different platforms they run on?

I just picked this up a couple weeks ago for $30. Finished the first game and starting on the second. The first game was great, but not quite as good as I expected after so many rave reviews. Then again, for how old it is i'd say it holds up well even by today's standard. I'm also playing The Last of Us. No denying here, I was hooked right into the game from the beginning. What a way to begin a game. Had all the elements a good story should have to hook you in and the art directio...

Considering anyone who is really into street fighter competitively will get the ps4 for this game, I'd say it's safe to call it a system seller. While I'll be picking it up on pc, a competitive player needs the console to be more mobile. There's really no question regardless of sentiment toward the exclusivity (which i dislike)

My ps4 and pc are both ready for street fighter 5. my pc shall receive.
Hopefully next gen they keep an x86 architecture and can have true backwards compatibility.
Ummmm..... sure lol. You've not heard anyone say anything bad about MJ? That might say more about the people you surround yourself with. He definitely didn't get a free pass with a LOT of people.
As a matter of fact I will tell you it's good. Not for myself though. My wife and her friends and almost every one of my nephews and nieces seem to enjoy it so yeah, it's good. Maybe it didn't meet YOUR expectations, but opinions are like assholes right? Everybody has one

A fighting game's focus really shouldn't be on graphics anyway. That doesn't mean the game should look like a blocky mess, but I'd honestly be happy with SF4 graphics as long as we have solid framerate, story, and netplay. I think the graphics discussion this generation has gotten ridiculous. I mean, somehow I can still go back and play snes/n64 games and have...
