You're spot on for their main territories like NA and EU but I think you'll be surprised with how well xcloud does in areas of high mobile use consoles are not normally prevalent.

Sounds more like a 50/50 split to me with the two big teams working on outerworlds 2 and Avowed while the 2 smaller teams work on grounded and the other unannounced game. I feel like that's a good balance.

This was actually a really good trailer! Was not expecting to care about a battletoads game but this looks like some good couch co-op fun.
Fanboys need to give it a rest. It was a good showcase of games coming soon. They held back more than I thought they would but I have faith that most of xbox game studios will deliver. Game Pass was the true star of the show though while Series X took the back seat. Either way, it's pretty clear where Microsoft is going and I for one, am all for it.

Twice as fast on paper and without taking the velocity architecture into account, yes you are correct.
The main draw of the velocity architecture is the dedicated decompression block to get those 5 + Gbps speeds. Without that decompression block, xbox series x would be capped at half that and would require the cpu to decompres.

That could work for some of their games but I would think that unless the game is actually running off the disc, the same legal licensing issues would still apply.

Sony needs some exclusives in the horror department so i hope they do scoop this up. Xbox has The medium, Stalker, project mara, state of decay 3 and whatever else they have going on. Silent hill feels like a sony game.
