I am sure the differences are no big deal. Played Orange box PS3 and never noticed anything game=breaking.
and the funny thing is, even for games like Bayonetta, the difference between 360 and PS3 is low compared to the massive gap in quality of graphics and anilmations between PS3 exclusives (Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain) and 360 exclusives (L4D2, ODST, Mass Effect 2)
Who cares about comparisons? No one is going to buy this on 360 anyway.
Yup, one of the better p***-takes I have seen. You know whats real funny though? I have actually seen these same arguments being used to attack the PS3 in the early years!
Of course, the inferior 360 hardware would fail to run it in its present form - but they could downgrade it to say Mass Effect level graphics and animations (good but not great) and it would run fine
The real reason its on PS3 is the same reason why LBP is on PS3. Sony are willing to take risks on unproven and new IPs, and MS would never spend a dime on a exclusive which is a novel, innovative, non-shooter title
Ha ha - bad miss on my part!
And anyway, shouldnt be hard on OPM because their reviews are ok, slightly on the higher side typically.
"it's only the familiarity of the core gameplay that makes it feel less than the very, very best."
So 9/10 for Halo Reach as well?
Why is this a surprise - the graphics, physics and gameplay on Forza 3 are (slightly) better than GT-PSP after all, and it even has more content than GT-PSP
Ha ha
ah ha ha ha ha
Ahahahahahahahahahahahah
Count me in for one copy, maybe two (so that I can pass it on to some of my heathen shooter-loving friends
Mass Effect 1: average review of 90 (PC/360)
Heavy Rain: 93 so far
We will compare Mass effect 2 with Heavy Rain 2 when it come out!
Reviews dont matter
But it does cause a lot of annoyance when a developer sweats blood to make a good game, and reviewers nitpick it to death, while the same sites give 10s to other games just because they are established franchises or on their favourite console
Well, thats the only source available, so how else would you estimate sales?
Didn’t Bioware make Baldur’s gate, NWN, Kotor? I am sure PC owners are very familiar with their name, and even Mass Effect sold loads on PC
Well, MS might pay silly money as they desperately need exclusives. Not only do they far fewer studios - they are also going with most of their big-hitters in 2010 (and still barely able to match PS3)
Which means, after Fable 4 and Halo 5 come out in late 2010 - for almost 2 years no exclusives other than Gears 3 (exactly the same as Gears 1/2) and Forza 4 (ditto for Forza 2/3) and maybe the odd flop from Rare
on the other side, you have KZ3, UC3, inFamous 2, Agent from Roc...
This is probably going to end up at 90+ on Metacritic excluding EDGE or 88 including Edge's 2/10 ("too much innovation, graphics are too realistic")
Tried to translate the page using Babelfish
Seems like it lists 2 sets of scores
Electric shock (Dengeki??) : 75-85
Huami (Famitsu??) - 37/40
The writer also comments that:
"score of electric shock (Dengeki) is low. As expected…?! "
So probably Dengeki is the Japanese version of Edge!
Also looks like the Japanese PS3 owners are also looking forward to Heavy Rain!
The funny thing is that Turn 10 dont even have a clue of what "definitive" means:
a new-gen damage model
sick graphics and 1080p
A huge numbers of cars, perfectly detailed
True choice to race the way you want - night, weather, private races, WRC, nascar
A massive online about - just like KZ2, promises to be the icing on the cake
Forza 3 looks the same as Forza 2 and plays the same as Forza 1. And whats more, the same will be true about Forz...
Please dont take away his bubbles, this is really entertaining
There are 2 types of games
The basic one, which involves simply shooting things (Halo, CoD) or jumping (Mario) which is easy to pick up but with no thinking involved, totally absent or incoherent tacked on plot, no subtlety
Or the most mature one, which involves different ways of controling what happens on the sreen, a deep story and characters that pull you in, makes you think and use different tactics as opposed to just pressing L1 - R1 and letting fly.

Interestingly, my local HMV had a small number of Heavy Rain pre-order boxes (about 6-8) and all sold out. Now they have restocked with about 20 boxes :)
