Agreed. If the game looks and runs that bad, then Ubisoft has a huge class action suit on their hands... Because they said every video after E3 2012 was from the PS4 build, including the most recent gameplay and Welcome to Chicago videos, not to mention IGNs exclusive gameplay segments and the Watchdogs 101 video. None of which has shown any of the issues that this site mentions. So, unless Ubisoft completely lied this entire time and has been showing PC footage for years...

Wow. 5GB patch! I feel for those with slow internet. May take them 3 days to download the patch to play the game... Or at least, play it without issues. Sucks, you buy a game at retail and still have to wait a day or more to play it. Not to mention, those who buy or have preordered it digitally and have to download the patch on top of the 20 some odd GBs for the full game.
They have to get this under control. Half a GB, maybe... 5? Almost the size of a full AAA game last gen....
As long as it looks as good as the great PS4 videos we've seen so far... Ill be happy. You couldn't tell in the videos, it wasn't 1080p, so Im guessing they've implemented some creative AA to make up for the resolution upscale... Because it looked sharp and very clean.

Indies are the only reason the industry moves forward. Without them, we would have 1000 Call Of Duty clones or any other game that obtains AAA status. It is through the efforts of indie developers that AAA developers learn new tricks and ideas for their own games. As Indie developers arent tied to a development schedule and can do basically anything they want to with their own titles.

Im playing it now and it is the best game Ive played so far on the system. The graphics are astonishing and the gameplay is a blast! Very cinematic and great voice acting. I didnt get a chance to play it last gen, so for me, its a breath of fresh air. Granted, I havent played Infamous yet, but it wont change my mind on how much Im enjoying this game.

So, basically we are probably never going to see an Ace Combat on the next gen systems because it all relies on how well Infinity does, as to whether they even start production. Yeah, I got mine this morning. This was a nice gesture and shows good faith. At least they are trying to make amends. Other companies would've chalked it up to the unforeseeable and not given consumers an apology or anything. Good job, Sony.
I was finally able to download the game at 12:01am on May 7th. Seriously, the last bit downloaded exactly 24 hours after it was supposed to release. After playing just a few games, I am hooked. The visuals are insane! I am still miffed about losing a vacation day to Sonys tardiness, but the game is great. Definitely recommended.

I actually did preorder the regular version of watchdogs about the same time, but got them to refund the money so I could get the gold edition. I'm glad I had them do that, because now I have the option of whether or not I want to preorder it. It's all going to boil down as to whether they are going to honor that pre-download they said the game would have.

BS they offered a refund. I was on the phone for an hour and on the chat for an hour nobody offered me a refund. They just said it would be up by midnight tonight on the East Coast. That I had to wait, they werent going to compensate me or give me a refund for my order. This was just an hour ago.
Yeah, that was what I was trying to point out. What they are giving Plus members now, with the PS Plus edition, is not what they said they were giving us back in September. They said and I quote in my post, "the PS Plus edition would be the full game minus a few tracks and cars." Now, we are getting a few tracks and cars, minus the rest of the game.
To an outsider, this would look like bait and switch in order to get people to buy into PS Plus when the PS4 launched....

Yeah I'm not sure why they would post 1080p videos of footage that was released before they did the graphics overhaul to the game. It makes no sense. You would think they would start with a brand-new trailer or some gameplay footage that show the graphics now, as opposed to what they were six months to a year ago.
At least we are getting some clean footage and not the overly compressed junk that we see on YouTube.
