I also waited for the next gen version. Should be incredible!
Game on!
I always laugh at these reviews. How can you review a game that's constantly evolving? In any case, been playing this since it launched on the European market and it is awesome. If you love flight combat games, you're going to love this one. There is so much to do, so many aircraft to fly and upgrade, so many campaigns to unlock and conquer.
And, the beauty of it all is... When you think you've done everything, the next update hits and you have that much more to d...
Awesome. The game deserves it, it is total crack. Ive played 20 hours and have only finished two missions. I just love walking around, solving random crimes and watching the world go by.
The sign of a great game is a game that you think about the second you put the controller down from playing it and a game who's world follows you wherever you go. Seeing things in the real world that make you think about the same in the game world. That's exactly what this game does ...
With the pictures you've shown, the only supposed "downgrade" that the actual game has is more and better lighting from more light sources and less fog. Though, that's not even the case with the fog, as I've seen times in the game where there is fog that looks like that throughout the game world or at least in certain sections of it. Generally when it's raining during the day, you will get that fog effect. I've also seen it in early morning in the game.

You can't compare the two. You're talking about a dead city in infamous, where there's no interaction with anything other than the enemies... compared to a lively city where you can interact with everyone and almost everything in Watchdogs. The fact that watchdogs looks three quarters as good as infamous is a testament to how far Ubisoft went to make the game looks so good with so much going on.
A lot of those pictures, also arent a one-to-one comparison. There ar...
If they got it working with rift, they shhould be able to pull the character model out and just traverse the environment in first person. I'm wondering why they haven't done that yet. Or do you not have to delve into the game code to get Rift to work?
I have to agree with a lot of the sentiments here. I think what made the E3 2012 build so incredible, wasnt the graphics... Because I think even the PS4 version comes close... But the atmosphere. There was more going on, a dense fog, steam from the street blowing in the wind, with the trees blowing branch independent, trash and leaves hurling by bouncing off nearby objects, a better camera angle and lighting that was damn near ray traced bouncing around.
Unfortunately, given ...
Whoever did the dialog for this video review... I could listen to for hours. You have the voice for a meditation tape, Im not so sure I didnt go in and out of a trance a couple of times during the review. :)
That being said, I like this review. Straight forward and showing the points they were making in game. I dont pay attention to the scores, more so the content that the review comtains.Thank you for sharing it with us.
Yeah, this is exactly what I was going to say. It doesn't look much better than the PS4 version. Everything pretty much seems the same, other than better AA. But the lighting and Texture quality all seems about the same. It's kind of strange that they boasted about the Nvidia differences trailer but you don't really see them in any of these videos.
I guess you could probably chock this one up to such a huge generational gap between all the systems involved. Going ...
It sounds good, but I'm just a bit disappointed there aren't any US tracks. Hopefully we will see some implemented with DLC. It would be fun to race down the strip of Vegas or traverse around the countryside of the Rocky Mountains. Drive down the coast from San Francisco to San Diego. Enjoy the tree line, fall festive trees and scenery of New England.
Other than that, the game sounds like it's going to be a blast. Hopefully, we can use any PC or PS3 wheel with for...
Yeah, I think a lot of developers actually do it to save the story for when people play it. There are just too many spoilers with reviews and previews and everything else that gaming websites do to become the first to report on it. They end up ruining the end experience for gamers.
I live by a saying for that goes:
A first time experience is only as good as the surprises it gives you. This can apply to anything in life. Surprises bring out the best emotions i...
Yeah. I agree with this article. Sometimes, it seems people fight to fight and enjoy that fight more than the cause they are fighting for. They pick fights, and target high profile games, specifically to get the attention of more people for their supposed cause.
I'm all for adding more women in games and making them the strong focal point of an elaborate story. But, if it doesn't fit… It doesn't fit. Sure Aiden could've been Aideen, but that's not what the...
Not really leaked, as my Gamestop had huge posters advertising this at their store. I went in to ask them if they broke the street date, to see if I could get it early... No luck. :)
Nothing wrong with remasters, as long as they are done right like Tomb Raider. I just finished it a few minutes ago and it is one of the best games Ive ever played... And I've been around since Pong and the Atari era. The game was not only astonishing looking... It also moved butter smooth @ 60fps.
So bring on Last Of Us and GTA 5 at 1080p and 60fps with Tomb Raider like visuals, and Ill be ecstatic. This doesn't mean that I don't want new experiences on our brand...
Yea, this is nice. That way, players across all platforms can enjoy every piece of content together. I always found it odd that developers would split gamers like that. Especially when each platform gets its own different content. Maybe someone on the PC wanted to play the extra PS4 missions, etc...
Its nice to take a step back in time, before all of this exclusive content bartering happened. It commercializes gaming in a way that isnt good for any consumer, as you have to pi...
Looks really good. Cant wait to see the PS4 version. Also, from above...
The game wasnt built for last generation and ported to this, it started as a high end PC game, then was taken over to The PS4, Xbox One and last gen. If anything, all versions are ports from the PC version. Each optimized to take advantage of their systems strengths. The only difference between all versions is filler density(pedestrians, cars and the such), draw distance/ depth of field distance, lightin...
That gif makes me wish there was a first-person view for just walking around in the city. It also makes me hope that they give us a photo mode to take pictures like Sucker Punch did in Infamous.
They don't have to. The fact is, it is still a less powerful system. Camera or no camera, it doesn't matter. If they were to change the price of the system to $299, then it would make a difference. People may consider it specifically because they wouldnt have to spend so much money. But knowing you're getting a less powerful system at the same price, why wouldn't you opt for the more powerful one? That would be my only recommendation to Sony. Push forward the fact that the Pla...
Looks incredible! Next gen has arrived, my friends... Soak it all in.
