“120 Hz Support
This month, Microsoft added 1440p resolution support, variable refresh rate, and auto low-latency mode to Xbox One. Next month, the team is adding support for a new refresh rate. Gamers with gaming monitors or televisions that support a 120 Hz can now turn on 120 Hz for 1080p and 1440p outputs.”

So I’d say yes

I feel like this should be brought up...

So your six year old isn’t going to care about 1-1 when they’re playing a game that involves tracking movement? So when it doesn’t do what they do they aren’t going to be disappointed, upset, frustrated, or any other range of emotions that go along with giving them “control” only for that control to fall within lines?

Yeah, good luck with that. I was a kid once and have two myself.

Good and fine ...

@Quetzll: So what you’re saying is LEGO already bridged the physical and digital worlds with not only the LEGO themed movies but LEGO Dimensions as well?

And that those LEGO pieces after can be used to build whatever?

1) Enhancements aren’t dependent on Xbox One X. Enhancements also benefit the base Xbox One along with One S. One X will see the most improvement.

2) There’s literally zero guarantee they weren’t free seeing as Xbox One backwards compatibility works with both physical and digital releases. Xbox has also offered gifting digital titles.

3) You’re playing a game in a system it was not originally designed for and a system that didn’t have backwards compatibil...

This on the other hand looks and plays way better than before, namely on Xbox One X. It also looks and plays way better on a base Xbox One.

One would have to question what your point is, if there is one.

Of course it’ll have zombies. They even recently separated the zombies maps from the multiplayer and started selling the zombies maps individually.

I want to see the return of Buried.

Good thing backwards compatibility is available on Xbox One and One S then, not just One X isn’t it?

What’s worse is once there there’s zero upgrade fee for backwards compatible titles you own already.

And if you missed even that 10% that shows that you missed not one but multiple titles. Titles that are available on Xbox One backwards compatibility today.

Even all titles available through Xbox Live Gold are guaranteed to be backwards c...

And you’re resending $400 to buy a Pro, are you not? PS4 Pro has the parity guarantee as well where Xbox One X does not.

So realistically and truthfully you can spend $400 to get what’s not more than a 1-1 PS4 port with minimal upgrades or you can spend $500 to see a day and night difference compared to the base Xbox One.

And I’m also very positive Xbox has titles for itself that do not play on PS4 or Nintendo Switch. Gears of War, Halo, Forza, Sea of Thi...

You’re attempting to compare a native, untouched product running on an old machine and old TV to a product that is reworked for Xbox One, a new console on a new TV. On top of the fact that upscaling tech doesn’t like 480p or lower therefore the new TV wouldn’t offer improvement for your example.

Ironically also by stating you kept a 480p display because you apparently KNOW THIS TO BE FACT your argument is rather sad and honestly, only appears to be for the sole purpose of d...

Granted but again, would it not benefit from being a higher framerate? Wouldn’t being 60 also entail the “best performance”?

Then things like shooters benefit from being 60 versus 30. Wouldn’t the mechanics of shooting webs and aiming at a next swing point benefit from 60 in the same fashion?

“and the decision to stick with 30 frames per second on both PS4 and Pro was to optimize “for a combination of the best performance and fidelity.””

Surely it could benefit from being 60 rather than 30 due to web slinging from place to place and using webbing as a weapon

“Capcom targets 1080p on the regular consoles, but for the standard Xbox One, this causes a problem, with the game struggling to deliver anything like a consistent 60 frames per second. The X addresses two issues then, with the new patch delivering massively improved pixel counts and restoring performance to what it should be.”

“The best comparison point for this is the base Xbox One - seeing as the Pro runs at a smooth 60fps already. The Xbox One X has everything to prove,...

Yeah, look at No Mans Sky, Street Fighter V, and even to some extent Gran Turismo Sport out of the box. They didn’t add content spanning modes and cosmetics or anything. New ways to play. /s

Grand Theft Auto V comes to mind too to some extent. Killzone Shadowfall also added content via DLC and updates.

To say any party receives a 100% complete game 100% of the time at launch of that title is absurd in this day and age.

The Wii didn’t play N64 or previous games before that natively. GameCube didn’t either. Wii U dropped support for more and Switch drops support the most.
N64 didn’t play Super Nintendo. Super Nintendo didn’t play Nintendo.
3DS/2DS plays DS but nothing earlier.

See where this is going?

Your example is trash at best.

Explain Ford engines namely which lasted longer, drove farther, and had less issues versus newer models.

Maybe you like the shiny paint. 😉

Plus it’s awkward motors are measured in horsepower. Know what horsepower is?

According to Sony they already offer it. Which is also why they locked the topic I’m sure.

Yes. Inserting your Xbox 360 disc into a Xbox One, One S, or One X will install a copy to your chosen destination on those consoles, assuming the game is listed as backwards compatible.

The disc will be needed to load the content in the future. Saves can be transferred to Xbox One as well along with any DLC you’ve already purchased. Even better some developers have decided to include DLCs free of charge for Xbox One backward compatibility users.
