Even though Halo 3 is the one that "OWNZZ ALL TEH PS3 EXCLUSIVS!!11!!" because of it's (very short-lived) record-breaking 4 million in one day? So.... looks like sales really aren't everything.
And btw... you're proud that an original Xbox game beat out the biggest 360 title ever? The Original Xbox itself was considered a flop, and IT'S game did better than the 360's!

Look at the guys behind the games and you get your answer. Activision are the pricks of this generation. They mess up the PC version of MW2, tell others that they should quit making music games, they believe that their game should cost more than $60, milked the Tony Hawk franchise to smithereens and think that Modern Warfare 2 should be a pay-to-play game. DICE, nor EA (surprisingly, after last-gen), did any of those things.

That's one of the things I like about the PlayStation Brand. Pick your favorite amongst the many symbols. Not just a man in armor...

You can argue that it's original or not. The point is, it was a very impressive game in gameplay, graphics and polish.

My friend just bought a PS3 today! I was definitely surprised because he used to always hate on me for having a PS3 in high school. He was a major fanboy. At the very end of our senior year, I find out his 360 just broke. fast forward almost 6 months, and I find out he gets a PS3 Slim instead!
Now I get to kick is ass in Modern Warfare 2, which he bought along with it.
