This is N4G. All over the internet people loved the conference. But you know all these people are right 85 min of games is just ok. lol.
That's not terribly fair. EA of old was a monster. But for quite some time now they have released great games (not all of them) and taken chances on new franchises like Dead Space, PvZ: GW, and Star Wars: TOR. That last one especially as it cost a fortune, and no MMO is a sure thing even with the Star Wars name on it AND it being made by Bioware.

Maxwell he's not wrong. I and many enjoyed my 360 for 8 years, and the games only looked better over time. The same can't be said for PC. On an 8 year old PC games only look worse because developers take advantage of the new hardware available.
If that wasn't the case new components wouldn't come out multiple times a year, they would be redundant, but they in fact markedly improved over older models.

A novelty is something that wears off. I would guarantee 95% of X1 owners use voice controls every day.
You know, and I've said this before on here, the Kinect is cool. I LOVE the voice commands. People say its nothing you cant do with a headset, but seriously who the f@#$ wants to wear a headset all the time? Krib is right attach rate is one of the most important things to developers and publishers. Because it tells them that if they launch on a system the likelihood of the game getting purchased. The Wii is the ultimate example, it sold 50% more than the 360 or PS3, and yet no one bought games for it. So companies stopped making games for it.
Xbox gamers have historically bought more games for the system than PS gamers.
This is N4G so this article exists for the PS fanboys that play good news instead of videogames.

MS had a much better showing last year. Outside of DRM and Online check in, they focused on AAA games. Sony on the reverse did what they've done since launch, talk about indies.
Sony won in peoples mind because they didn't have restrictive policies. But they didn't have any games to talk about either.

It's funny I feel the same as you guys part of the reason for me is how easy it is to turn my console (tv and receiver) on and launch a game with out having to pick up the controller. Unless you do it, you'll never appreciate it.

Spin off does not mean sell it means spin off. A perfect example is American Express spun off its financial investment arm and it because its own company called Ameriprise. And Amex (at the time at least) was majority share holder.
People think that even if they spun it off (which is unlikely) that the company would fail. No what it means us that it would become a dedicated Console company. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
So MS loses because they didn't show anything mic dropping. But if Sony doesn't show anything mic dropping its ok because their Sony? Because you said the only way for them to lose is to show nothing. I think you may be very disappointed.
