@Kayant
MS is one of the leaders in network solutions for companies and the government. If you think they had no hand in this you're crazy, as crazy you would be to think something like this won't come to all. Remember fiber was exclusive for a long time.
Lots of PS fans here today. Hello all I hope you guys are having a nice day.
Did you guys see the article about the shadow network used by scientists that can send Gb's of data a second? It's run by the DoE who is working on upgrading it so it can do T/b's a second. Food for thought
The Kinect still works, the Xbox is able to stream resources and make it so if a gesture needs to be used the resources are there.
The point is that 10% was held in permanent reserve, whether its needed or not. Now the developer can decide whether to use it for gesture or whatever else they need. And voice will still work all of the time.
Don't try and convince the fanboys of that.
I was going to yell at you if you left Bioware out! lol Just kidding
You're so right, it's a huge diffrence. I mean look at all the comparison videos that go back and forth at lightning speed so you can which console has a better leaf. Or the pictures that are so large they won't fit on my 60" TV so you can see if someone's jacket is slightly more textured.
If the difference is that big, it should be noticeable to the naked eye, alas I could play video from both consoles and you'd never 've able to tell which cons...
@torchic
What are you talking about? Destiny while yes a FPS, won't compete in the same space as a game like Titanfall. Destiny is an open world FPS RPG. and Titanfall is a pure arena shooter.
People may associate a particular game with a console, but its more common to associate a genre with a console. FPS and Xbox, or JRPG's with PS.
My Guess is that in the first 6 months you're going to get your millions of players. This package, from what I'm seeing across the internet, is being considered a must buy by everyone even those who in the past haven't liked or ever played a halo game. I think we could see something special with this collection.
Or not lol.

@ Christian MS said the game was running on Dev kits, and if you ever saw pictures of early dev kits they looked like PCs. And when it crashed on the show floor the guy didn't attempt to hide anything he opened the door and rest the system, even standing there for a few seconds with the doors open!
You're being a fool if you think anything is different in this case. Except the fact fake button prompts were put on the Sony screen. I'm not saying its a big deal, bec...
No it places him solely outside the Sony fanboy defense force. The best part is most people have subpar TV's, even with 1080p if you spent less then 2 grand on a current plasma or 2500 on an LED. You're getting reduced picture quality that native 1080 can't fix.
The main difference is that the games last year didn't have a complete console to run on. How many X1 consoles were floating around this time 2013? Probably a small handful. But that's not the case today, and so Sony could have used a PS4. Though this is N4G.
Your 100% right. It is not right in 20 years its right now. Movie, game, music, book sales are all down by a large amount all because of digital. I have only bought 2 of 5 games on disc this gen, and truly don't plan on doing it again.
On top of that, as I've said several times, digital downloads protect developers and put the money in their hands, and not in the hands of Gamestop who benefit the industry not one bit.
I have to ask, did you buy a PS3 at $399 $499 $599? Because it was the weaker console almost its entire life (and before the fanboys heads explode, by weaker I mean multi plats, which make up the majority of what we play, played worse).
At $399 you get arguable the best gaming controller ever made with a far superior battery life. The most robust online network. As well as all of MS exclusive games, and content.
My point is even though its slightly weaker...
@redge
I think that's a chamber lol
Sorry to say, you're a hater.
The Xbox is doing well on the Gamestop website. And oh my gosh that's what this article is about!!!!
When The Witcher devs got on stage they said, "Hi we're here to show The Witcher and...you know lets just show the game. I absolutely loved that!
Microsoft had a very straight forward message. Here are the games you're going to be able to play this year, here's the great indies coming soon, and here's what's coming in 2015. Few words were said, as they had to many games to show. A-
Sony on the other hand bounced all over the place, showed lots of GC trailers and used misleading phrases like "console debut" which was not used to highlight the fact that its coming to PS first but rather to mak...
MS moving? Sharing? They announced sharing last year and people squashed it. This is pretty cool especially if you have more casual friends who may want to play. I know I do.
I have a feeling you won't see much of this. It just doesn't make much financial sense. It's similar to the reason you don't see many demos anymore.
Best bang for buck in the history of video games. Leave it to MS to one up the orange box.
And damn it looks good.
@Orange
The PS4 isn't selling in Japan either.
MS did show lots of games, plain and simple. I love the argument that because you don't like what they showed they don’t have any games.
Not only that you named as games you would like to play, Halo, which is one of the biggest franchises in history, and Horizon 2, which is a fan favorite. So IF you were a gamer as you say, and you like the idea of those games, why would you not get an X...
