exactly.
i want a wiiu, but as it is right now, if i bought one i probably wouldnt even take it out the box.
we need more along the lines of xenoblade 2, and less of wario game and watch.
there has been rumour of nintendo releasing updated versions of old/classic games to fill the barren release schedule... but that is precisely wiius problem, they keep serving up starters but the main course never seems to come. the little nibbles are nic...
just what nintendo need to entice core gamers!
*note: sarcasm
after skyward sword, if they simplify the formula any further, zelda will just be a collection of mini-games.
since when did telling facts equate to trolling?
the wiiu is a failure because it doesnt have software. the millions of gamers who dont own a wiiu agree with me. hence extremely poor sells.
still dont believe me? go and look at the sales figures. go and find a wiiu in store. you will have a hard job finding a wiiu and its software section in store- not because its such a success its flying off the shelves, but because its such a failure the shops are pulling ...
yeah, not just hardware, but software too.
''Store staff arent really telling consumers the benefits of the wii-u''
yes, i saw wiiu games in the wii section in one shop. and this wasnt a little independent shop, this was a major retailer. that is the wiius problem, its identity. nobody even knows what it is. it has an identity problem.
that is a good idea to simply discontinue the wii and actually promote the wiiu.
''Fire Emblem Awakening, Luigi' Mansion Dark Moon, Xenoblade, The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3, Monolith Soft's X''
aside from xenoblade (which isnt even strictly a nintendo game,) none of those games are wow. great, critically acclaimed, maybe, but not wow. even wind waker was underwhelming when it was first announced on GC. it wasnt a wow moment. and a hd remake was more 'what!?' then wow.
im talking about the...
thats not nintendo though, is it. thats a 2nd party doing their OWN thing. yes, X looks amazing, but im talking about nintendos in-house games.
haha samuel l jackson.
he would say 'i've had it with this mother fxcking mario, on this mother fxcking wiiu'
nobody even really stocks wiiu except online retailers. its amazing the console even manages to sell at all seeing as it has no games.
nintendo dont have anything. when was the last time nintendo actually wowed us?
everyone knows the games nintendo should be making- f zero, metroid, starfox, wave race, true 3d mario, new AAA ips etc. instead they will force feed us wiiu music, fit, party and other pointless mini-game collections nobody wants.
even if it can render the universe and its entire contents in real time
im disappointed by wiiu. i want one but nintendo are giving me absolutely no reason to buy one.
i dont even think mario kart or smash bros will make me buy a wiiu either. same old games, new tech.
i think i will wait until xenoblade 2 before i get a wiiu
no way. the n64 was a flop only in comparison to the ps1 which was incredibly successful. but the n64 was still a very respectful console with numerous TIMELESS CLASSICS.
Mario 64
zelda ocarina of time
goldeneye
all genre defining games that basically re-wrote gaming history and still to this day are extremely highly regarded.
people definitely didnt give up on nintendo or have any doubts about nintendos ability to make amaz...
nintendo gave up on nintendo
little known fact.
the lylat recipes.
i agree, if you were asked to name a AAA nintendo game, pikmin wouldnt spring to mind. it is bizarre that nintendo prepared a new pikmin game as THE first big game to sell the wiiu, but thats what they did.
they should have prepared mario 3d world or mario kart, but instead they put pikmin on a pedestal.
even to this day, after all this time on market, pikmin 3 is the only big game on wiiu from nintendo. i dont count NSMB wiiu, as that is little more than a...
i dont know why people are saying this is a niche title... this was one of nintendos big guns. this was the game nintendo were working on to sell the wiiu. this is nintendo's AAA game. This is the game that nintendo spent money on advertising.
how is it niche? you cant defend a games poor performance by claiming it is niche. it isnt niche, it just didnt do what it was designed to do- sell consoles.
a game like wario game and watch is niche. it just fills...
yes, i keep saying this too. mario 3d world is not on the same level as mario 64/sunshine/galaxy. you can tell right away this 3d world game is mario on a budget. mario on a short development cycle. mario minus all the magic.
remember in galaxy they would have those little worlds you would go to, and they were clearly just 'fillers,' that is, they werent actual stages or courses, but merely abstract platforms or paths you just ran along... just to add padding to the ...
