its all bad news for wiiu
i think the only time people (ie nintendo fans) come to terms with the fact that the wiiu is a disaster is when mario 3d world doesnt shift consoles this xmas.
''New Super Mario Bros U doesn't have spectacular graphics by any means, but it's still a good looking game. ''
its not a good looking game, thats the point. its just functional. all function with no consideration for the form, which results in a game which seems soulless.
''That doesn't stop it from being a damn blast to play, though.''
you cant pull the wool over my eyes, i have NSMB on the wii a...
we must have a different standard on what is beautiful. NSMB just isnt even a good looking game. its merely functional.
nintendo havent gone out of the way to make it stylish, or attractive... like the recent rayman games... or any modern 'cartoon' game for that matter.
this mario 3d world has that same by-the-numbers look to its graphics.
i just dont find it appealing.
'' how can you say a game with a soundtrack comprised of mostly Jazz is soulless?!?''
the game has none of the charm of the other mario games. it seems workman-like. its not a beautiful game, in fact, its ugly.
''He says it because he is nothin more than a sad troll. Thepcz, foxtrot and LOLwut need to be ignored, they are all delusional with some kind of hate vendetta against Nintendo.''
troll, no. disappointe...
even with no online im not feeling the look of this game.
nothing can gloss over the fact its not a next mario 64, sunshine or galaxy. its some bastard in between.
it just seems like mario on a budget.
i dont care what the reviews say, the same way the reviews said NSMB is cool, when it is just an empty soulless game.
nice try, but those games wont be out until april-june at the earliest. that is a very long time away. by then ps4-x1 will be gathering momentum.
plus, everytime a big new game arrives, nintendo fans say this is the game that will make sales take off. they said it with pikmin, they said it with wind waker hd. now they are saying it with mario 3d world. then smash bros and mario kart.
time is running out rapidly for wiiu
the wiiu is finished
yeah, galaxy is amazing because it is unique. the way you control mario in a 3d space was truly new. as new as mario 64.
mario galaxy 2... just couldnt be as enthusiastic about that. the only memorable thing about that game to me, is yoshi. that is the only thing that distinguishes it from the first galaxy.
another problem with galaxy, is being in space, it allows nintendo to get away with making levels that are complete nonsense. ie, they are just a random ...
haha its not trolling. its called being honest.
dont see the point in these nintendo derelicts if nintendo have nothing to show.
fact is i only check n4g for nintendo news. i guess i have faith that nintendo will announce something special. since the wiius release, this hasnt happened.
X is the only game.
dont blame me for having nothing good to say when there is no good news.
''Hopefully Nintendo will reach out to more developers next time when they're building their next console. ''
nintendo pitched the wiiu as a console for core gamers. they used its 'high spec' to position the console as hardware made for 'core games'...
none of this has been realised beyond the release titles of batman/assassins creed etc. it looked promising, but that momentum is lost.
the irony was reveal...
nothing really note worthy
yes, i have been saying this for a while now.
wiiu has no games, and the proof for that statement is the fact it isnt selling. meaning there are millions of nintendo fans who wont even buy it themselves.
i am one of them
just because i like nintendo doesnt mean i will splash out £200+ on a console with nothing going for it
so the wiiu's target audience is corny idiots?
....
the wiiu is just a poor product with a poor identity. i mean, they even designed it IDENTICAL to the wii.
of course the average consumer will think its just a wii with a new controller.
they should have just called it wii2.
lol because millions of grown ass men and women still enjoy games.
there is a massive market for games aimed at a mature audience.... and wii fit is not the game i have in mind.
its nintendo's loss. true, a mature gamer may buy a nintendo console for their kid, but sony/microsoft have the mature market to themselves.
''Go watch a movie like Wreck it Ralph and tell me it was just for kids.''
funnily enough, wreck it ralph is one title that i am interested in seeing and am planning on buying. i do enjoy pixar films, because as you said, there is something for everyone in them.
i guess im at an age now where i am a man, not a boy, teen or the 18-24 young adult. as the old saying goes ''When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all t...
im not saying nintendo should stop making mario or childrens games. im saying they should make their catalogue/ips more diverse.. reach out to the audience that HAS outgrown mario.
''Too bad for your "mate" then that he would let his nephew dictate what sort of games he should play. Who's being immature there? ''
to me, that was the moment when my mate realised its time to move on. personally, i still continued playing mario a ...
''Then go play your "exceptionally beautiful and extremely fun to play" knack''
dont know what you mean, i havent even seen the game beyond the little clip that was shown at e3. i dont care about knack.
i dont care about killzone either. well, i do acknowledge its good at what it does, but i dont get where you are going with your comparisons and insinuations that i am a sony fan.
perhaps i have an opinion. just sayi...
