@mcstorm
yes, if i had a wiiu, i would probably buy sonic lost world, simply because i like the look of it. i thought sonic colours was great.
but lost world was poorly received, critically.
i have also not seen an advert on tv for this game.
its a shame the game didnt get the high scores everyone was expecting, because it really does 'look' amazing.
to be fair though, sonic lost world is a critically shit game.
it would only be worth weeping if beyonetta 2 actually turns out good. then yes, that would be tragic if it doesnt sell.
sonic has been a source of shit games for a decade now. maybe fans have stomached enough
£100 behind ps4 and x1 yes.... but the wiiu is not offering the same specs. it is substantially lower, and the price should reflect that.
''14yr 3D sonic experiment''
lmao
then i will buy.
very nice box art though
you'd have a collectors item
2000.... that is so poor. we are talking about sonic here, not some obscure character nobody ever knew by a start up company.
nintendo need to slash £100 of the wiius price. then it becomes a very attractive product.
as it currently stands, the big games selling only 2000 units on launch is as good as its going to get
the artwork does look great... not sure about the games though. never liked NSMB.
i would buy an X bundle.
i think nintendo are just putting on a brave face now.
wiiu had its chance, it had a whole year on the market with the next gen all to itself. it made zero impact.
why will sells take off now, when it had all that time with no competition?
ps4 and x1 are going to send the wiiu to its grave.
when the smoke clears (after xmas) all that will be left is ps4 and x1.
''That is only with the some of the big name 3rd parties''
no, its with almost all 3rd parties. 3rd parties dont commit to nintendo, they merely dip their feet in the water. whereas on sony/microsoft consoles, the 3rd parties really go all out, giving those consoles their biggest franchises. nintendo is losing every gen in this regard. ie, no GTA, no street fighter, no metal gear solid etc. these are the standard and basics on other consoles.
...
nintendo has the worst 3rd part support of all consoles and nintendo has historically had a notoriously poor relationship with 3rd parties.
'' the magic you are talking about is something, you probably never experienced. ''
wrong, i experienced it in all of the major mario games of the last 15 years or so (bar NSMB, those games are hollow). even just by looking you can tell if a game has it or not. mario 3d world dont got it. we didnt even want it. no, we didnt. what we wanted was a true, fully 3d mario game.
''I only hear Sony fans talk this crap''
i dont think there has ever been positive news.
even when new games are revealed, the first reaction is 'wtf?' then as the weeks pass, it 'grows' on people. ie, its still bizarre/not really wanted, but people convince themselves otherwise.
mario 3d world, donkey kong tropical freeze, wind waker hd and many other games fall into this category.
nintendo are never going to get it right this gen. they have lost the magic... like ...
haha its been out for like, 20 years
this is what is worrying me about nintendo... these small projects. this is why i am yet to buy a wiiu.
nintendo, we need big projects, not small mini-game collections.
its baffling that a video-games GIANT like nintendo with a such a distinguished back catalogue of games is being reduced to making games you would expect from a start-up made-for-mobile-phone games company.
what is happening nintendo?
the more you want it, and the more it makes sense, the more likely nintendo wont make it lol
its not hate, its frustration
they say they will give us an open world mario game if we ask for it... do we ebven need to ask? its an amazing idea.
meanwhile they serve us trash we didnt ask for... like a 2.5D mario game.
thats what gets me frustrated, thats why you will see me criticising in most recent nintendo articles. they make it too easy.
when they start announcing the f zeros, the metroids, the starfox, the new ips e...
haha i like nintendo
i think £199 is the right price for a wiiu with game bundle. £180 for 32gig premium.
both the zelda wind waker hd, and mario/luigi bundles are very nice... but i still think the wiiu is tipping the scale towards 'no deal' when it comes to the price
