of course i know what an opinion is. maybe you dont. when there is a mixed opinion, it can only mean that the game is not good.
when something is classic, there is no mixed opinion. was there a mixed opinion on ocarina of time? mario 64? gtav? goldeneye? and all the other classic/ highly rated games? no. because they stuck a positive reaction with everyone.

people only said the earth was flat because they didnt know any better. they didnt have all the facts, so saying it was flat was just a theory.
saying sonic lost world is crap is not a theory. its a fact, supported by the reviews of many dozens of professional gaming journalists. the game has been picked apart, tried and tested, and the conclusion beyond all doubt is the game sucks.
when many/all of them say the same thing, it would be wise to listen.
RE4 was a great game. it was a total refinement of the series addressing most if not all of the problems with resident evil games, ie the stiff controls etc. but that was the last resident evil game i played. after that, the series nose dived.
as for street fighter, i always held off buying because of capcoms relentless 'new' additions. so in the end, i didnt end up buying at all.
everything that was once great about capcom, is gone. so who cares if...

i really want the wiiu to be a success, i really want a great collection of titles that will warrant me buying a wiiu. this was one of the games i was counting on being quality, so for it to turn out to suck is very disappointing.

i am watching it very closely. i check here every day for news. any news. something that will spark my interest into a purchase. but nothing. in fact, as time goes on, the more my interest is being lost.

anyone else think its a sad state of affairs when the wiiu section of this site has next to no news on the wiiu or wiiu games. just full of ps3/4/360/x1 news. and the little wiiu related news is either slating the console or how poor its latest exclusive is (sonic lost world.)
the wii was the laughing stock of the industry five years ago, and even that had a flourishing community here. even that could maintain a presence in the gaming community.

remember being stuck in water temple in ocarina of time and thinking 'im never going to get out of here' ... then when you finally crack it, the great sense of achievement.. i havent experienced that in a nintendo game in years.
in skyward sword for example, all you need is a passing interest to be able to complete it. nintendo games are a walk in the park.

it has everything to do with power now. nintendo underestimated the importance of HD last gen and the wii went to an early grave as a result.
nintendo pitched the wiiu as the answer to all the problems the wii had, therefore, one would expect a nintendo console that was future proof, technology wise. but instead, what we got was another 'half-step' by nintendo, this inbetween 'thing' that can give us quasi next gen experiences, but not the real deal.

people keep saying the wiiu is doing fine after the recent 300percent rise in sales... but thats a 300percent rise from selling 5 or 6 units a month. so still, the numbers this console is shifting is pathetic.
a great console is defined by its games. what does the wiiu have to boast about? a decade old game in hd (wind waker) and a shit sonic game. thats all.
no matter how good mario land 3d is, i cant see the wiiu being propelled into the public consciousn...
