im disappointed too. its relentless disappointment with nintendo lately. they may as well change their name to nintendisappointmento.
im actually serious when i say am actually considering not checking for nintendo news anymore. people think im a troll, im not, im actually a nintendo fan, but right now, there is absolutely nothing to be exited about or even interested in with what nintendo is doing. all it does is frustrate you.

i know this because if i worked for a company that had a lot to boast and show off about, i would use that stage as a platform to boast and brag.
its a show, and they had nothing to show.
they could have made some an announcement regarding new and exiting projects. but they didnt. one can then only assume they have no new and exiting projects. ie nothing to show
you might call it trolling, i simply call it logic.
it took a lot of convincing to get xenoblade to come to the west, and that was with the wii, which was a wild success.
xenoblade only got a limited release in america too. so there is NO CHANCE of X getting across to these shores when the wiiu is a failure.
absolutely no reason to buy a wiiu once you realise this.
heck i wonder how nintendo can afford to launch any more major games for the wiiu itself, when they will be releasing them to a...

well its either drop the controller or drop the wiiu. the controller gots to go, it is just a hindrence.
you know in the movies there is often a scene where two people are hanging by a cable, and one has to let go in order to save the other? well, the wiiu needs to drop the controller otherwise they will both come tumbling down.

im right whether you agree or not, the vast majority of gamers chose not to buy a wiiu.
this is because of its high price which is due to a controller nobody needs.
its too expensive and is really and truly just a luxury.
games can be played perfectly fine without it... the way they have done the last 30 years or so.
its a typical example of being sold something we dont need.
get rid of the controller and offer the wiiu at a vastly lower price.

at the end of the day its all politics, and we vote with our wallets. if you dont go out and support all brands then you really are a hypocrite, because that is a political decision to support one brand over the other- essentially saying to the other brands ''i dont need or want you''

but the wiiu is doing very badly.
when xmas is over and the sales figures are in, and the wiiu has been humiliated by ps4/x1, people will still refuse to believe the wiiu is finished.
people will still say obtuse things such as 'why all the negative journalism' when the journalists are simply reporting the miserable state of affairs for the wiiu.
