I guess because Dead Rising is more generic than The Last Guardian? Just like COD outsells every game?
FYI this tech has already been used in a game back in 2008-09 I belive it was Rage
Wait who is being sarcastic? Metacritic is shit. Better follow a reviewer you trust than the average dude
@trouble
Only people who can't think on their own follow it
@Ultranova
Completely agreed, also look at the user score, lol 5.6 for Sausage Roll
Lol.... You do know that producing an ambitious PC exclusive requires much more financial and time resources than a non-ambitious game that tries to stuff every pixel it can into a single hardware set.
Oh and still PC games get the exclusive experience. Sorry can't go back to 30 fps and 900-1080p dynamic resolution
@bluefox
Umm.... You just went on another tangent. I don't even like the idea of exclusives. I just said that, to make a game...
Because Steam Sales of games in January are down to 40$ by Summer and 20$ till the end of the year.
Metacritic is followed? How do these articles get approved?
Why should someone care about the sales anyway? You are enjoying the game, enjoy the game. Why the hell do you want to make sure that others are enjoying the game? These media driven agendas -_+
But a good console is supposed to sell more than a 2 gen old console at the same point in time
Refund is already there on Steam. I thought they would have introduced it on all platforms -_+
Well Re-sale is just like piracy if I am tbh. Piracy on PC is just mass sharing of te game. Here you sell a game to a friend where the company doesn't get any monetary value and then he gives it to a friend and so on. In none of the cases are the sales going to teh company, so might as well totally stop it if companies are trying to stop piracy.
Well not surprising, look at the total population of today versus when all of the others came out. But congratulations anyway
Just like COD
@Maxor
According to the above logic yeah, the most generic stuff becomes the most successful, COD is no exception
While in this thread people are more concerned about sales than enjoying the experience, of VR and imo, Vive probably has the best games right now. Raw Data quickly made me feel like a free flowing samurai. PSVR will be great when Raw Data and Steam VR lab come to it, till then it's just an entry to VR. I would rather have a comprehensive full experience than be bogged down by hardware limitations and be placing blocks on top of each other or just going down roads. Also how can I forget h...
It is a downgrade from what I see, some textures have been removed, ambient occlusion is missing from quite many areas, texture resolution has gone down, bloom is missing, this all i can tell, just from the video, I dunno what differences people saw in real life
@isarai
Since you were vague I can't answer to you, I see no added geometry.
@oasdada
I know the right is the retail version
Do you see shadows under the bridge or shadows where light i...
Exclusive on top of that lol
VR is not something that can be exclusive as of now, maybe 2-3 years down the line. It needs to stabilize before companies start making exclusives.
Crysis had far more intuitive mechanics than most games today. I mean even though they gave you a futuristic suit, no one demanded them to go back to WW2 era, simply because they balanced the game out so well, it didn't feel like futuristic shit.
PCMR #ftw
The problem with consoles is not the hardware capabilities. I played it on a free weekend and understood immediately that it could never be on consoles, nhot because it is a very tough game to run, but above all it is more of a simulator than the console generic third person and first person shooters that are touted as revolutionary.
@EDMIX
Still missing RTS or have a dumbed down version of RTSs. Not all games are playable on consoles. Also most PC games that are e...
All the earning is through crowd funding, so yeah, it doesn't need the console platform.
Yeah so a post on this shouldn't be made because it is not exactly the determinant of the quality of a game
