1. I am not American, so I wouldn't care
2. I was talking only in terms of the gaming industry
Most ironic thing I have heard this generation.
It was more of an advertisement for both LG and Actvision
The combat was probably the weakest element in the game apart from maybe side quests. Not because it was bad, but it felt like it lacked depth, but then again, it wasn't very shallow, just not something that comes close to say Devil May Cry or even Bayonetta. But it did have the breadth to cover up, it had hack n slash, twin stick shooting, text adventure elements that kept things fresh. And gameplay is not even its strong suit.
-Best OST of the gen easily
-Som...
I second the notion of not even knowing about the game to hungrily wanting all the predecessors to have a port on Steam.
I would put that, but it's on a very weird line between releasing some time in 2019 and releasing after 2019. Though even if it were releasing later, the only game I would replace it with would be avengers since we don't have any sort of gameplay on that.
There are so many indies coming year after year that it is hard to keep track of all of them. But yeah, these games caught our eye and stuck in our minds, so these are the games we put down.
I am not sure where to put Hello Games in between the Indie-AA-AAA spectrum.
1. Sea of Solitude looked good, it slipped our minds
2. Eitr's release date hasn't been confirmed. It hasn't been talked about officially for a long time, otherwise it would have gone in the list as well
3. Ok honestly haven't heard about Vane (Personally anyways)
4. Childern of Morta looks more like Hyper Light Drifter and Wizard of Legend. Yeah it could have a place on that list instead of Away.
5. Splelunky is good too
6. Pathles...
Typical GamingBolt clickbait. CoD, obviously you can put in 100 hours. Nice nice.
Still one of the best looking suits in all of Spiderman media.
The worst part is whichever game you pick up from these types of the game, the skill trees are shameless copied. And it all becomes about who has the higher stats between you and the enemy.
(Edit- Not talking about Automata btw, I am talking about Assassins Creed, Shadow of Mordor, Horizon Zero Dawn etc)
They are not wrong. Dumb people on the planet are just waiting to get exploited.
The Joke Awards.... Seriously the most wrong person to organize such an event.
Haven't played RDr2, but if there is one open world game that has set the standard, it is by far Witcher 3 and I hope that Cyberpunk 2077 is even better which will set a bar of its own.
Meh.... I wish good games sold this well.
You hate these articles and you still approved. Irony much?
This would be impressive if only sales were a good metric of game quality. For me, nothing has dethroned Nier, Witcher 3, Doom, Nioh, and Persona 5 this gen followed up by Yakuza 0, Bloodborne, Hollow Knight, Spiderman and Rocket League.
So learning life lessons from a book, movie, song etc are fine, but if games teach you something your parents failed you? Logic much?
Biggest isn't always the best and sales number aren't a measure of quality. Just saying. There are many experiences available only on PC and not because a company has rolled the dollars to keep it on the platform, but because they simply can't translate on consoles.
