It really looks treacherously clunky tbh...
It does matter, breaks the immersion otherwise.
If DMC5 is going to be the peak of action games, this comment is going to be the peak of either ignorance.
I personally don't think modern platinum games except maybe Metal Gear Rising Revengeance come anywhere close to the depth of Ninja Gaiden and the older DMC games.
I am hoping it will. Bring the character action genre to it's roots. We are in dire need of Ninja Gaidens and Devil May Crys.
Legit excited af for this game.
Tehy should focus on increasing CPU's power that allow so that we can actually have gameplay innovation which this gen hasn't seen
Idk if it's just me personally, but in a third person camera I feel that I am moving (Playing) the character and the area around the character. Not so the case with a first person perspective
I have this gut feeling that Activision is casualizing their formula. Especially after that whole "Activision is helping us with the tutorial" stuff
Am a lil bit worried tbh
I am always afraid that I'll have to click to 23 pages nowadays when such lists come up. Thank you for not doing that.
Though Dishonored is not an FPS, it's more of a FPPRPG. Would have loved to see Superhot, Shadow Warrior in this list.
Loved the first one..... The second one looks like it's gonna take what made Blind Forest great and turn it up way past 11
LMAO.... Tf you smoking when you say Sony studios can do gameplay almost as good as Nintendo.... They are nowhere near each other..... There is no PS4 first party game that has mechanical depth as much as Mario or Zelda.
That's what I meant by 'expensive' cut scenes. Cut scenes are done well even without mo-cap, voice actors etc.
Stop making expensive cut scenes & set pieces and put that money in making an actually decent game with good game mechanics.
I guess I am the only fan of his (the author) here ;-;
Not going on the score, I agree with all the negative parts about his review. Maybe 3 or 4/10 would have been better considering it's not a broken game.
Funny how David Cage generalizes in the same way:
"When you think about it, you realize that many games have absolutely nothing to say, they're merely here to make you have a good moment, to trigger some adrenaline in your system, and that's cool."
- David Cage, 2013
After games like Deus Ex, Bioshock, System Shock, Persona 4, Fallout 2 etc.... It clearly shows that he knows jackshit about games.... Wonder who is more ignorant/i...
So we are getting a true successor to Deus Ex as well EYE Divine Cybermancy.
OK, so Bloodborne 2 first and now Splinter Cell..... Amazon be the E3 post preentation
As long as EA is behind all this, there is always room to be skeptical.
Nice.... But I guess it would be wise to release Kiwami 2 and port the other games (Even if not remastered) to PC because of story aspects. But then again Yakuza 6 is still a fresh product.
MAKE PERSONA HAPPEN SEGA.
