It has a bit of Titanfall, a bit of Souls, a bit of RPG elements, a bit of Qunatum Break and a whole bunch of no focus.
Looks as trope-y as it can get
Microsoft being the EA.... Taking a studio rooted in SP and forcing the into MP.
Not that I like their games, but for those that do, it's just sad.
Ironic coming from Ubisoft.
I think you are forgetting Deus Ex, Dishonored and Thief (Not the shitty reboot) exist before saying "He mastered the stealth genre.
I mean Dark Souls, Hollow Knight, Nier: Automata, Bloodborne, Persona 5, Witcher 3, Transistor etc all have amazing stories with amazing gameplay supplementing them, so idk what you are on about.
Sega has done a wonderful job on the PC at 5the very least this generation.
Hollow Knight definitely comes to mind. The only objectively flawless game of the gen imo and lush with content.
At this point, I am pretty sure the publishers know and it is a fact that their audience mainly comprises of ADHD patients.
They were already selling a red dot sight for 2$, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Not necessarily start of the gen. But I am pretty sure they could have developed the engine by 2015-16 if they didn't keep churning out mediocre cash grabs targeted at dumb people.
So they keep dishing out the same mediocre game year after year after year instead of developing an engine with a good game. 6 CoDs, I am pretty sure an engine, with that kind of manpower and funding they have would take about 2-3 years to develop.
inb4 "It's not easy". Yes I know it is not. What have they got to lose, dumb people keep buying the same game every year and they get easy money off of them.
Took them 6 years into the gen to realize this. Cool.
Makes me skeptical. Cinematic usually means the gameplay is a joke and all rules of the game are forgotten when it comes to story beats or set pieces.
I played 1 til 4. After that the series became stale and with Origins and Odyssey, the series became painfully generic and mediocre.
Dark Souls 3, Witcher 3, Nier: Automata, Hollow Knight come to mind. Hard to find any apart from these.
"Leading Digital Platform" ofc
On consoles, physical sales rule. And on PC, physical is mostly not even an option. Where is the only place Metro could be sold on PC? Epic.
The hardcore Metro fanbase is definitely going to get. Then there are those dumbuns who see Epic as a "GoOd CoMpEtItIoN", and will buy the game just for the sake of it.
Lack of concrete numbers actually just says it all, but alright, go ahead with ...
Gravity Rush 2, Spiderman, Bloodborne and Persona 5 are the games I had the most fun with as far as exclusives on the system go.
Still among the best games ever made.
Looks as generic and as boring as it can get.
You do realize this move sounds more like a throwback to Matrix and not John Wick, inspite of him having JW's hairstyle?
