A cyberpunk horror RPG from the guys who did the recent Shadowrun games? Sign me up. Glad to see the studio didn't shutter after the weak response to their last release - Lamplighters League.
This was inevitable, but even faster than I was expecting. Now just to wait and see if they even bother retooling it for F2P.
Have to love the PC modding scene. Constantly turning old games to new, and not charging you for remasters and remakes. I have played amazing releases like Enderal, Nameless Mod, and Fallout London that truly did deserve to be full-on retail releases.
Star Trucker and Frostpunk 2 for me.
N4G in a nutshell. Rinse, repeat.
50k? We still can't even confirm half that lol
I don't think they do bad gameplay in general; especially with Max Payne and Control.
Nooo ... not Payday 3 ...
Really though, all six aren't big losses, by any means.
It's been out for a good while on Xbox and then Switch a bit later. It just released on Playstation.
It offers actual depth in its roleplaying. You have agency over the factions you join, how you build your character and how that effects missions, dialogue, and the world around you. The gunplay isn't anything special, but it's solid and you can adjust whether you want enemies to be spongy or switch it to just a couple hits kill them or you as well. A lot of content in general.
I don't care about the hate for this game. I think, if anything, it's exaggerated. The game definitely has its faults but, as a whole, I think it has a lot to offer. Still one of my favorite games of last year and is, actually, my favorite Bethesda game since Morrowind.
Those articles are about player numbers. Even if a WHOLE 25k people bought it, what does it matter if only a small fraction of that even cares to play it? Add another 100 for GoG and Epic, by the way. People pretty much use GoG for classic titles, and almost nobody goes to Epic when a Steam version is accessible.
My thoughts exactly. I like this site because you really do get a lot of what's going on with games with ease. The amount of fanboy man-children on here though is ridiculous.
. . . wooh . . .
The amount of hours I've spent with the Advance Wars over the years. Damn.
And here, in the real world, no matter what you think of the game, the servers are so barren it's literally just the same handful of people playing against each other. Rinse, repeat. How long do you think even that will last?
I'm mainly a PC guy, so I just observe these little console wars as a spectator. They're humorous at times, but there's a lot on this site who take this stuff way too seriously. It's pretty cringe.
Less than 100 now.
I never thought I'd see the Stalker series on console; period. As a PC guy, I love seeing all these classics coming to console.
Nice. Modders will keep this alive forever. I see the Morrowind effect with this. We'll be getting insane new experiences via mods 20 years from now.
