That's true for almost any storefront. The only one I can think of that really monitors what goes on their storefront is GoG.
They've definitely fumbled hard in the live service space (buying Bungie, the utter failure of Concord, spending years on Factions 2 just to cancel it), Even Helldivers 2, which was a hit at launch, has lost most of its user-base due to weak post-launch support.
Other than that though, they've been doing well.
I've enjoyed everything you've released from Remember Me, to Life is Strange, to now Banishers. I'm sure this will be really good as well (as a 90's kid, I'm digging the setting). That said ... can we please get a damn Vampyr 2 lol?
Lost in Random was great. Chorus and Evil West were pretty good, but nothing really special. I really liked No More Heroes 3, but I thought it was the weakest of the mainline series. Haven't played the rest.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, the Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands (the good one), and Greedfall Gold. Some really good gets there.
I loved the PS4 Pro. I did get it dirt cheap, however.
That's definitely some good ones gone. Still makes no sense to me removing 1st party releases.
FF12 is still my favorite in the series; followed by 7 and 9.
AA and indie stuff is the only thing keeping gaming interesting anymore. I am rarely excited for a AAA release, and even less so impressed with the final product.
They're talking about game design. Not necessarily art design. The majority of fans actually liked the aesthetic changes made with DA2 (outside of the Darkspawn), but found most other things a step back. The Qunari in Origins really just looked like big, strong humans. In Veilguard, as for that image, they look like goofy cartoon characters.
Euro-jank Half-Life. Love it.
Fun game. Would have looked it over if not on Gamepass, but it's actually a really good time.
Keep em' coming lol.
I have over 30 games on EPIC store and have yet to spend a single dollar on it.
They'd be really dumb if they didn't but, I mean, it is Nintendo and they do love making you repurchase things.
The first season was really good. Hope they hit the mark a second time around.
Don't mess this up. Please. The demo from a few years ago was pretty crap, but it looks like they've improved on the game a great deal. Let it still be Gothic. Just modernize it.
@romulus
Stop being dense. People crapped on Concord because it was dull. A well put together hero shooter with absolutely no personality and nothing that makes it stand out in the space. You act like Sony is some bullied little company in the industry. Take a look at the praise and awards many Playstation games have gotten over the years. Just search around here and look at the glowing reception Astro Bot is getting instead of whining on this non-sense false narrative you&...
Eh. Checked out what little gameplay there is to be had; was hoping for a solid Army Men spiritual successor, but it looks a lot more like a poor man's COD set in an overly clean, almost asset flip-esque world. Hard pass for me right now.
I'm seeing 10+ hours for the campaign, on most accounts. That's not bad for the sort of game it is. Then add in the PvE and PvP and there's a pretty lengthy experience here, it seems.
Still a very healthy playerbase on Steam and Xbox. I'm looking forward to the expansion.
