I love it when 360iots try to claim the "PS3 has no games". Take a look at the 360's linup and realize that 90% of what you 360 folks are playing, PS3 owners are also playing.

HL2:OrangeBox, Oblivion, Call of Duty 4, Devil May Cry, Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon AW2, Rainbow Six Vegas, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, The Darkness, FEAR.....

And then we've got our own exclusives that are better than the 360's.

First, the 360's head start was going to destroy the PS3. Then Halo 3 was going to destroy the PS3. After that, HD-DVD was going to destroy the PS3. Now that "Live" is the only viable asset the 360 has left, its the thing thats going to destroy the PS3, LOL.

"Live" couldn't help the Xbox compete with the PS2, and it won't save the 360 from the PS3 either.

agreed, and it'll still be a place where people are gaming for the gaming, not gaming for achievement points.

Maybe he wouldn't if you didn't make yourself such an easy target.

just saying is all, you seem to pump out alot of worthless jibberish.

Talk about a rock and hard place.

You're stuck deciding between losing out on the income that bluray will generate, or adding your rivals format as an attachment to your already outdated and still malfunctioning machine.

I can just see the posts now: "Its all Sony's fault, Bluray made my 360 RRoD".

to me personally, the real difference is found not in the actual service, but in the players.

Its the lame achievement seeking gamerscore kids that completely ruin it. You're supposed to be playing "kill the carrier" or "king of the hill"....except thats not what anyone's doing. This bloke's trying to get his vehicle kills, this other guy just wants to build up his melee stats, and in between every other match I've got some 12 year old begging everyone to stan...

He did come up with something that makes sense; what good is online services when your system is bricked?

I would agree with you in principle, but I think you need to re-jog your memory back about 6 months when all you overzealous 360iots were droning on about how "our 360 copy of HL2:OrangeBox runs better" and "how come Madden'08 plays so much better on the 360" and whatnot to bash Sony.

Funny how these things come full circle eh?

I don't focus on the patches as much as I focus upon the developer's responsibility to release a proper product. You can make a patch to solve some issues, but you can't make a patch that can compensate 100% for mistakes or laziness.

At the end of the day, I just don't like how ports are used as fodder for debates about the merrits of systems. You see it frequently; People will look at certain games from EA or Ubisoft and say, "look how ____ performs on the PS3" and us...

really? honestly, thanks for the info, i didn't know it wasn't bundled the same in Japan.

Regardless, you get the point of my post though; you've got the generic applications that they practically force feed you, and then like 8 Mario titles. I'm already sick to death of mario, and thats pretty much all the Wii has (aside from NGC and PS2 ports), which is why I don't own one.

I work in a gaming shop, and I'd have to honestly say that the 360 is a fantastic machine for us sales-wise.

Unlike the reliable PS3 and Wiis that come with everything you need and don't break down, the 360 is a cash generator for us; we make more money from 360 repairs, add-ons, intercooling attachments, play'n'charge kits, XBLive cards etc. than we ever could from selling Wii and PS3 consoles. Hell, we've made a fortune with our disc resurfacer alone thanks to the 360.

The term "NEXT-GEN" is the most missleading term in the industry. The term "generation" only lumps systems together because they're available at the same general time in terms of system life-cycles, its doesn't relate to product features or qualities what-so-ever.

They may both be "the current generation", but the PS3 and 360 are incomparable in terms of thier respective features because the PS3 is of vasatly superior quality, includes way more featu...

The first thing I notice is that the top "selling" Wii games are the ones they give you free or bundle so that people buy them to get the extra controller.....and after that, the rest of the top titles reads like this Mario___, Mario___, Mario___, Mario___, Zelda___, Mario___, Mario___.

Talk about a gimmick with a one-trick pony lineup, but people are buying it up, so what do I know?

@ GETPWNZORED:

You try to bash on Heavenly Sword by calling it "Lesbian Sword", but you're fogetting that MS tried the same thing with "Ninety Nine Nights". The only difference is that Heavenly Sword was enjoyable to play.

LOL, how come when a poorly ported game comes out on the PS3 with glitches 360iots use it as an example of why the PS3 sucks, but when it happens on their system, they proudly point the finger at the game publisher?

?....they gave the #2 spot to a console that lasted less than 2 years on store shelves and became the last breath of its creator as a console maker?......and the #1 spot to a system who's legacy will be that it set the new industry standard for worst failrate.....?

I guess once you play the small list of decent DreamCast games that weren't on other systems and the 360 bricks, you'll have to settle for the PS2 *rolls eyes*

I just don't understand all the 360 folks chiming in with comments about how many more RPGs the 360 has over the PS3 when Oblivion, Enchanted Arms, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Final Fantasy XI, Phantasy Star Universe, and now Eternal Sonata are all on SONY systems anyways.

Trust me, "Two Worlds" and "Blue Dragon" aren't making many "Final Fantasy", "Suikoden" and "Shin Megami Tensei" fans jealous of the 360.

I see alot of comments about the weaker graphics and game engines on the Wii, but personally those factors don't mean anything; the DreamCast was technically superior to its competetiion but failed, and the PS2 absolutely owned the graphically superior Xbox.

What really gets my attention is the Aps, and in my opinion the Wii just doesn't have them. Aside from the typical Zelda/Mario/Metroid releases, there just isn't anything that interests me, and if I wanted some kind of phys...
