You amuse me, seriously.
Still droning on about the PS3 only being sold for BluRay movies!?
I guess all those PS3 owners who bought GTA:IV bought it so they could trade it in for more movies huh?
Get a clue.
LOL, so its down to this? We're aguing about dithering at 400x magnification?
I've played both versions.
They both look fantastic.
Are there differences?
Yes.
The PS3 has better lighting and smoother tones.
The 360 has is brighter, with sharper lines.
They both look good to me.
Can we stop argueing and just enjoy the game now?
And I couldn't care less.
You bragged about getting the IRON MAN demo early, and how much did you play or enjoy it?
Honestly, as long as demos arrive before the game, it serves its purpose to allow me to try out the game. Getting a demo a few days later than someone else doesn't mean much, since the game isn't even out yet.
But I hope you enjoyed IRON MAN. If the game scored a 3/10 and a vote for worst game of the year, I'm sure you enjoyed the hell out ...
Its essentially the same phenomena or pattern:
360 RROD:
- the 30% of folks who got a bad system are upset with good reason
- the 70% of folks who's first system is still working will enjoy it
GTA4 FREEZES:
- the people who've experienced problems are upset with good reason
- the people who's copy is playing fine are enjoying it
So lets not poke fun or disbelief at those who have had these issues; they honestly deserve our sympath...
......where are all the X360 cronies who were braggin last week about getting the demo for this "worst game of the year contender" earlier than PS3 owners, LOL.
Obviously this list fails pretty hard considering they didn't make much mention of "Gears of War 2" or "Halo Wars" which would be the two games I'd be looking foward to if I were a 360 owner.
Perhaps they're figuring those titles will get delayed to 2009?
I see you're still trying to make that same lame argument about the HD cables, LOL, and I appreciate you still making me laugh day in and day out.
- the 360 doesn't come with battery packs for the controllers
- the 360 doesn't come with the charge cable
- the 360 doesn't come with motion control capabilities
- the 360 doesn't come with HD movie capability
- the 360 doesn't come with free online
Trust me, with all the money I saved with the va...
Blu-Ray players are $300 and the discs are $30 eh?
sounds like DVD when VHS was dying to me.
And if you can't tell the difference, you need to go TV shopping.
Seriously, and much respect.
As a PS3 owner, "Lost Odyssey" and "Mass Effect" remain the two games I'm jealous of on the 360. I can live without almost all of the 360's exclusives (not trying to flame or trash them, just my own quirky personal tastes) but man, "Lost Odyssey" looks fantastic.
I really liked some of the splinter cell games, specifically "Pandora Tomorrow" and "Chaos Theory", but to me, there are just too many similar games coming out now.
Between Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, and SOCOM, not to mention all the lesser than wannabe titles that try to copy those, I just start to tire of the genre, even though I usually enjoy the games.
His point was valid LAWMAN.
If he's already got a decent PC and a PS3, there isn't a whole lot that he would need a 360 for.
Besides, you can't really use the arguement that "you can buy 3 X360s for the price of one PC" because most people I know with a 360 are on their second or third one anyways.
As a paperweight.
[sorry, but I didn't want to leave anybody out]
I totally agree with you that its a possibility for the PS3 to hit 20+m installed by the end of this year, especially considering all the major titles landing and a probably price-drop for the holiday season.
That said, I have to disagree with your statement that the Wii hasn't had any "heavy hitter" games;
"Super Mario Galaxy"
"Smash Bros Brawl"
"Twilight Princess"
"Metroid Prime 3"
"Mario Part...
You mean that Gran Turismo wannabe clone M$ gives away free with premium bundles?
I didn't "go crazy" over "Ninja Gaiden Sigma", but I did like it thanks, as have several 360 gamers enjoyed the PS2's "Bully" on their 360.
Besides, I don't think you're in any position to poke fun at Sony users enjoying an "old Xbox game" considering how many Xbox games were PS2 ports.
And you want to talk about "pathetic" game line-ups?
The 360 doesn't even have exclusives; I can get pretty much every decent 3...
Nope. I'll just wait for the "Sigma" version *wink*
"YEAH, THIS IS NOT A WISE INVESTMENT"
- there are many worse investments, such as an XB-360, or Vista.
"ESPECIALLY WITHOUT RUMBLE"
- it has rumble.
"YOUR BETTER OFF SPENDING THAT CASH ON THE CONTROLLER...."
- already got two!
"....SONY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU WITH THE CONSOLE."
- you mean like how the 360 comes complete with the battery packs, charge kits, HD movie player, motion sensing contr...
Well, they called it "Prologue" for a reason, it was priced at $40 instead of $60-70, and they openly told you a larger version was coming.
Nobody tried to trick you, so theres really no need to complain.
If you want GT5:Prologue, buy it.
If you don't want GT5:Prologue, don't buy it.
Its that simple.
Personally, I didn't mind spending $40 on it, because at that price, it offers enough to warrant the purchase, especially to those who are f...
What people spend their money on is a personal choice.
I payed $38.99 for GT5:Prologue and to me it was worth it.
I payed $399.99 for a 360 that bricked, and that was not worth it.
Sony didn't trick anyone; the game is labelled "Prologue" and priced accordingly.
NEED I REMIND YOU:
- Some 360 owners payed the full price for "Forza2" and then watched everyone get it free in a bundle a few months later?
- Some 36...
"I know every Sony fan is feeling defeated once again" - ETOWNONE
How am I "feeling defeated"?
I have my copy of GTA4, it works perfectly, and I'm enjoying the game. After that I have countless other games to play, as well as an amazing upcoming library that neither the Wii nor 360 can compete with.
Trust me, I'm enjoying GTA4 and feeling far from "defeated".
