Resistance was better than Black Ops I thought. That's not saying much though.
It's like comparing diarrhea to vomiting.
Seeing as how UI features on PS4 are seeming to match what's already on Vita, we COULD see this change when Sony releases an update for Vita.
Certainly some form of update will come out to make sure compatibility in all forms is maximized. Stuff like the conflicting friends list count means there should be a sizable update coming to both PS3 and Vita. Although, it may not be until around the release of PS4.
Here's to hoping, though!
The wait just keeps getting worse and worse. I was fearing UI clutter, but hopefully it's not too bad and has options and toggles to change it up.
Fingers crossed still on that multiplayer beta.
As someone once told me: "You can get two for five dollars. Those gentlemen down the way have an inferior quality product." A reference to the opening of Wu-Tang Clan's C.R.E.A.M.
I feel your pain. I'm almost 100% on getting the Vita version though. I just want to hear some reports that the Vita version didn't suffer from any compromises.
Especially since I just finally bought a trigger grip for Vita. It's less portable, but daaaaammmnnn it's comfortable.
Sweet, thanks. Now I get to kill some more time at work.
Same here. I'm going for the Vita version.
I wonder how it fared in Japan today. Well yesterday to them now.
Looks pretty good. I wont dive deeper into it because of possible spoilage. There's probably not too much to spoil, but I'd still rather play the game before I dive into everything about it.
Also, there's always something funny to find when Google translates Japanese for you. "It has a strong body that is trained, the Australian arm can be a partner in excess of tall even throw in and lifting lightly. Which threw more involving also around, and in one fell swoop to a ...
Maybe this time the game won't be culturally insensitive.
I still loved playing it. I thought it was one of the better old school FPS games.
@andibandit got it.
@JunioRS101 got it, too.
PS4 is not going to be more powerful than a good PC, although the hardware consistency allows for developers to get more out of a PS4 than if you had a PC with the exact same specs. A high or top end PC will always have more raw power to put out though.
I'm perfectly fine with paying to play online. I expected, and wanted, it to happen. Anything to make the service better. I'm not saying it...
@Inception
Yeah, but she knows I don't play bad games. Neither do I watch bad TV or movies. She's the same way.
Also, that sorceress is a very unrealistic, hypersexualized version of a woman. How do I go about explaining that? What purpose does that artwork have?
I'm buying it day one anyway. The gameplay looks great and the artwork is fantastic otherwise.
Good points. Definitely agree.
I especially like the Dan Brown mention. It reminds me of a time when I heard that classic line, "the book is better," whilst talking about the film adaptation of "The Da Vinci Code."
...
Really? How do I even approach that? Call the person a book douche? A fanboy of (insignificant) literature?
Mind boggling!
I have zero interest in sexualized cartoons, but the gameplay is 150% up my alley, and I'm dying to play it.
I'm just not sure how to explain it to the girlfriend if she sees a sorceress enter my game, which will be unavoidable when I'm playing Vita in bed at night.
Just to add: there is a POSSIBILITY that given what we know right now, ps4 MAY beat Xbox One to the market.
PlayStation plus made darn sure that I had to pay $100 for a memory card. Oh well, I don't regret it.
I like how your comment is better than the article in both content AND grammar.
Exactly. This is the exact reason I place no stock in people saying console gaming is in decline. Consoles are about to get some real PC gaming experiences. So many possibilities come from this. More and much better MMO experiences. Dedicated servers. Possible increase in number and content of apps. Much better multitasking.
Closing the gap between PC and console gaming is nothing but good for any casual gamer out there. Proven successes like WoW could easily be handled by next gen co...
@Cuzzo63 I can't speak for @nukeitall's other comments, but I didn't take his post to be pro-PC or anti-console. To me, all he did was offer one of the better explanations of why the ps4 can have the size and power it does.
Agree and +bubble vote for knowing what you're talking about.
One of the best things to happen in the field of game graphics in a long time is the standard of 1080p. Increases in resolution make computer components work much harder and consume more juice.
I'm kind of on the fence about 4k for this reason. Sure, it's cool to see that significant of a jump in resolution, but I don't think current displays have seen their maximum potential yet. Increasing pixel de...
Just for clarification, thermal compound used on chips doesn't in itself cool chips. It's used to get maximum surface area transfer to some sort of sink.
You may have known that anyway, but I figured I would clarify in case someone didn't.
They should put Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style on the store.
