Don't get me wrong, I loved inFamous and thought it was a great game, but Second Son looks waaaaayyyyy better. It would absolutely be the first game I would get were it a launch title.
I'm going for Killzone to get a good next gen experience and Knack because the girlfriend might play it, too. I also have a "knack" for those PlayStation 3D platformers.
Yup. I'm just trying to focus on the little waits. Dragon's Crown, Killzone Mercenary, Diablo III, that kind of stuff. Anything to take my mind away from October/November.

That used to annoy the poop out of me with YouTube. It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't lay it on the bed.
Luckily the YouTube remote function with my phone works well so it's not so much an issue anymore.
Yeah. Also, unless devs come up with a specific control scheme to make up for the lack of L/R 2/3 then these controls would have to be relegated to default touchscreen buttons with default placement. No one wants that.
I'm actually not as pumped for remote play as I am for vita games coming out. Playing dragon's crown or kz mercenary on public transit Wi-Fi our tethered to my phone just wins.
This could be cool. If Google would have anything to do with next gen consoles though, I would want a full featured chrome browser in my ps4.

Agree. This article really only mentions things that can easily be done on a modern smart phone. No video game console (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, whatever) can compete with the smart device industry.
This game too hard for the reviewer like The Last Of Us was? Fail.
@Paytaa Oni was a pretty good game, too. I enjoyed it on PC. Also, I loved playing Myth II. That game was like a 3D Age of Empires except the soldiers gibbed each other.
I'm getting both, that's for sure.

I was lucky. I just finished playing a couple of maps. It controls good. Feels like a killzone game.
I was worried about the screen real estate with touch buttons on there, but they did a very good job avoiding clutter.
I didn't think it looked as nice graphically as it did in the videos, but it is still very nice. The gameplay is obviously more important, and they seem to have done a great job.

I do have plus, but the Mercenary closed beta was something you had to apply for. The open beta is sometime next month. I'm downloading it in the background while I play Muramasa, but my work's internet is so slow!
Dying for this game to come out here! I'm working my way through Muramasa now, but Dragon's Crown looks way more up my alley.
Off topic: I just received my closed beta invite for Killzone Mercenary, are they giving them out like crazy? Or am I just special? :P

@Foxgod got it. Clock speed increase on any hardware does very little to improve quality. A very minimal FPS boost is all you will get. It doesn't magically look better in any way.
Semi-related: what's with the large amount of pseudo-hardcore PC gamers lately? There's so many people out there who pick up a PC and act like they're superior. I'm starting to think that most PC gamers who post on here didn't even know you could game on a PC before Steam exist...
