That was Activision.
Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken are all made by developers that know how to make fighting games.
To be a successful fighting game it has to either a) keep a casual crowd because of fun factor (like Smash Bros) or b) live and die by its hardcore community. (most fighting games)
If they're new to fighting games, then a) is their only chance.
It's also made by the guys that made CoD4.
Normally, I don't think anything is a ____ killer, but this is an exception.
Respawn more or less made Call of Duty. Most of the team used to be Infinity Ward before the split happened. A lot of those guys, probably most, have worked together for a long time. Through MoH:AA, to Call of Duty 1, 2 and 4. A lot of these guys have a completely legitimate GOTY under their belt in the original PC Call of Duty. What...
I wish they would change their studio's name. The way I see it, Infinity Ward is back with EA after being Activision's unfortunate b****, and they're now making Titanfall.
THOSE are the guys who did MoH:AA, CoD, CoD2, CoD4:MW and now Titanfall.
I had to funny bubble that, DirtyPimp. Oh man.
I'm normally against people arguing, but that was priceless.
Strange how that goes.
We're going in a big circle back to terminals connected to a server.
Yup.
Also, a bundle of this thing with a game could be the perfect match. Killzone, The Walking Dead, Minecraft is coming... contrary to what some say, the Vita does and will have some games that can move systems.
I already own a Vita, so my interest in this device is depending on remote play working great.
If I can bring this little thing and a controller to a friend's house and play ps4 on a TV, I'll buy it.
I'm excited ...
Riiiiidge Racer!
*crickets*
My vita memory card has piles of indie games on it. My personal favorite was probably Hotline Miami. I have no desire to play that game on ps3 or PC. It just seems like it's an absolute perfect fit for vita.
No game looks 50% better than any other. Everyone has their own favorites in graphics.
What I think gets overlooked is that Cerny has all but said that Knack is a physics simulation disguised as a family friendly game. It might not have the most filters, or the most post processing effects, or be the prettiest to the eyes, but it could very well be the launch title that works the ps4 muscle the hardest. Especially so coming from the guy who designed the system.
They're skilled in evasion. They're supposed to be.
What I keep getting stuck on is that these console power debates are really just stuck with the people on places like n4g and NeoGAF. To me, it just feels like fanboys of either camp just trying to convert each other.
Remember when Sony said that they have over a million preorders? One million is a small fraction of the people who will own the console over its lifespan. The arguments on here are pointless if...
You won't regret it, man.
The IGN review seems to have hit the nail on the head for this game. It's exactly how I felt, too.
Roll dodging is sweet, the menus are super effective once you get used to them, the high drop rates make the loot system incredibly addictive, couch co-op rules, the game is incredibly smooth and didn't often take those frame hits to drop it below 60, and the graphics are average.
Those are all points I would have to...
I stopped playing Dragon's Crown when Diablo 3 came out.
Dragon's Crown is way more technique based and challenging, but Diablo 3 just has that action game steamroll everything fun factor.
Most people online in Dragon's Crown don't seem to be very good, either. People don't learn how to effectively use air and ground hits in their combos, they don't learn the limits on air juggling, and they don't know how to evade cancel when usin...
I'm nearing the end of act 2 on nightmare (lvl 40) and I've found probably 20 or so legendary items. Me and a buddy of mine who play it have also both gotten the same legendary twice. His was Monster Hunter and mine was Goldwrap.
The drop rate seemed to go up by a lot when playing two player. I haven't played four player yet, but I imagine the drop rate is insane.
I'm a big fan of Diablo 2 uniques being in the game. Goldwrap, Blackhand Key, Manald Heal...
Probably only runs 6 svchost executables instead of 75 like a proper Windows OS.
I'm still waiting for the day that I can buy a new laptop that either a) has Android, or b) has no trace of Windows.
Same score as The Last Of Us I think. Maybe this time they learned a bit more about video games and how to play them.
I still refuse to open any Polygon links. Maybe one day when they cease to be a bunch of posers...
Nah, still don't deserve the hit.
I severely doubt your argument.
A few points:
1) Respawn presumably exists because of an ideological conflict between Infinity Ward and Activision. They probably don't want to be under anyone's boot as long as they don't have to be.
2) Respawn Entertainment will fight tooth and nail to keep their IP's. The Titanfall IP is theirs. EA is just the publisher...
3) PS4 is using the same architecture as Xbox One and PC. Why would EA pass up on that la...
The first Dragon Fantasy Book is like an NES clone. The new one (II) is meant to be like an SNES clone.
I wonder how much the IP for Angry Birds is valued at nowadays.
+Funny bubble for the last line.
