People complain about the number of titles available, but there are still some pretty quality ones out there.
Dragon's Crown, Killzone:M, and Super Stardust HD would be my first suggestions for new owners. There are so many more though.
I can't wait. Another six and a half hours until I'm off work and then I can go pick it up!
In all honesty I'm almost certain I'll buy it for ps4 when it releases, too.
@n4rc I certainly hope so. Google Now is the standard in my book for voice recognition. I hope it's available in every language. It's so much faster and more accurate than S Voice and Siri.
While I am off topic: Google Now is THE killer app for Android right now. In my book, anyway. I don't just mean the voice search, either.
I agree. Thank you, Septic, for staying logical. Your posts aren't trash like the many.
I would say that Microsoft is rushing right now, but I wouldn't say that the end result will be rushed.
Sony is in the same boat. Every department under the PlayStation brand should be putting in overtime right now. Marketing and advertising, firmware and software, everything related to hardware production, etc.
A company working its arse off, with...
Yup. Tomorrow can't come fast enough. In all honesty, if the game maintains a good hardcore community, which I imagine it will, I'll probably pay again to get the ps4 version.
I can get excited all day about which games to play on ps4, but the truth is that when I get my hands on resogun, that will be the only game that matters.
Second Son may end being my first triple A purchase when it comes out.
I can play indie games all day, especially on vita.
@Ju
Knack is not a risky title. It's the best title in the lineup for many parents who may be buying a ps4 for Christmas.
Plus, Knack seems to be doing just fine on any pre-order numbers that get thrown around.
Titanfall is not a launch game. I couldn't tell from your post if you knew that or not.
It's just a placeholder date. December 31 is used to keep it in the calendar year of release when the exact date is not known. I've seen it used by BestBuy, Wal-Mart, Amazon, and ebgames for many different things.
They're talking about changing the internal storage.
Does anyone even use permanent external storage?
It should work well.
The power consumption in the standby mode should be very minimal. Vita's low power mode can hold a game in the background and still last for days.
I wouldn't unplug the device like some people are stating. Power cycling is much harder on a PC like device than standby mode.
I had the complete intention of buying it during the sale, but I had forgotten about it because I was busy with moving and such.
Profit!
Thank you for reading the article and understanding it. It appears a lot of people didn't.
This is not necessarily a good or a bad thing for Xbox.
This idea was thrown around not too long ago with Sony. Not PlayStation, but their entire electronics division. In that case Sony corporate would show much better financials and the electronics division would get a much needed restructuring at shareholders' hands.
Most devs want to show off the visuals to some extent. To make a game split screen, you have to take away some of that visual flair. At least if the game is making the console put serious work in.
Racing games probably got hit the worst.
Brian Fargo presents...
Cue Ron Perlman's voice...
Pretty much all the other kids on the block were playing Nintendo. I was the f'd up one robbing graves, killing children, becoming a porn star, running slaves, prize fighting champion, etc.
Oh Fallout, the times we've had. I'm glad more people appreciate you now, but I still don't like what has become of you.
The addictive nature of a game like Diablo paired with couch co-op should give it some strong sales. Every Diablo game before 3 have had a huge online community that stayed around for a long time. (Years)
I think anyone who can sit down at a friend's house and join in may have a good incentive to buy it, too.
If it's as good I want it to be, I'll probably pay again for the ps4 version.
Did they add an auction house to D2 in a patch or something? It wasn't there I the years I played it :s
Also, the laptop comment is completely irrelevant and appears like snobbery. I want couch co-op and the simplicity of a dualshock. I'm not playing this game for graphical fidelity. I'm too casual nowadays to ever take up PC gaming again.
I just added you. The benefits of a vita while at work, haha.
You're in for a treat if you like this kind of game. I've played the crap out of every Diablo minus this one.
Diablo at its best is the king of the loot driven action based RPG.
I haven't. I'm super pumped up for it.
I played Diablo on both PC and PSX. I played that awful Hellfire thing. I played Diablo 2 and LoD. I still haven't even tried Diablo 3.
I'm glad to hear anything that says they might have dealt with the issues that turned people away from the PC version. I was going to buy it for couch co-op alone, anything else is just gravy.
Was the indie space shooter content a jab at resogun? That game is getting hype because it's from Housemarque. It will be pretty, have good controls, and above all else, it will have fantastic hardcore replayability. These guys get credit because credit is due.
It might not be the game I'm most looking forward to next gen, but it will be my favorite game until I wear it out.
