I'm assuming my ps4 will have a day one update as well.
I doubt they had a final candidate made before it went into production.
I don't view it as a negative thing for either system. If we had to wait for release candidates then we wouldn't be getting the consoles so quickly.
Rocksmith is a blast.
Just make sure you have a console setup that will fix the audio delay. Console->hdmi->TV is not a usable setup.
My one beef with rocksmith (delay aside) is that it makes all the tones sound like your playing a humbucker guitars. (Compressed)
Obviously, if it's tracking like midi then most guitars will sound the same. I just prefer single coil tones outside the game.
The improvements in the 2014 edition ...
Oh wow, that's beautiful.
Damn.
I was scared it would be protected, but I didn't take the effort to look.

They should work. They both work fine on Vita right now. :)
Edit: I just don't know how video will work for Skype
They're always good for homebrew and piracy when you don't need PSN/xbl anymore.
I'll probably put Linux on my ps3 like Sony used to be okay with.
Because L.A. Noire was supposed to be exclusive.
It's been said before.
It's probably in writing somewhere that Rockstar owes Sony an exclusive that they've already paid for.
Yep!
Also, even though I wont play it, Gran Turismo! It's Sony's best selling franchise for a reason.
The more people that buy a PS4 relative to Xbox One, the better. At least in terms of solving this problem.
Microsoft may not budge on that policy of parity.
If a dev like Ubisoft starts threatening to cut the Xbox One's library, then Microsoft would have to act.
Obviously, Ubisoft is not going to do this unless PS4 has an overwhelming install base-at least enough to be profitable.
There's certainly no guarantees, eit...
You'd be gaming faster if you download one at a time anyway.
I've been telling people this, too.
A lot of people didn't consider that both Xbox One and PS4 will be using Bluray. It wont be just Sony's first party who will be taking advantage of the format's storage anymore. When games like Assassin's Creed and such make the jump to being next gen only, I would expect the size to increase dramatically.
I'm more of a fan of the PS4 approach than the Xbox One's. I would rather swap the internal...
@0ut1awed you can do anything on Vita while it's running a download.
Maybe not anything, I don't know if it will download and remote play at the same time as I haven't tried it. Also, while the you can download a patch for a game while playing that game, you probably can't play multiplayer in this scenario. Obviously, this is due to game versions and not Vita functionality.
I prefer a full bodied red, myself.
I will be enjoying some come Nov 15. That's not really a surprise to the ones who know me, as I'm in the bag three to four nights a week.
Seriously though, Xbox One or ps4, November is the new Christmas.
I can't tell, either.
There's always going to be propaganda and political writing out there. Just remain objective and you will be able to spot it. That's not news to anyone.
Yeah, I wouldn't call it the last hurrah.
Maybe, just maybe, if you're a 360 gamer.
Aside from Beyond, there's also Gran Turismo on the way. Some, myself included, may not care for sim racers, but there's no denying that it's the biggest PlayStation exclusive.
Agreed! That was great.
I liked the picture painted of the Electronic Arts of olde, and then the start of a transformation after publishing Madden.
That was a good read. I'm very excited for the rest of it. It's a shame this isn't hotter on here; the same drama over and over gets tiresome.
"Poor" is indicative of class, and China is *supposed* to be classless.
Semantics, mostly. It would be better to say that China has "poor" because of misconstrued Communism.
@GrizzliS1987
Why don't you use some of your superior mind power to post something useful, instead of just making bad generalizations about others? I don't understand why you expect commenters on a gaming news aggregate to be studied, magnate, genius'
It's a hobby, man. Take it easy.
There I go doing the same thing.
I find it extra satisfying on Vita. I prefer it on Vita to Ps3.
So the system software was 100% complete on ps4 back when it started production?
Severely doubtful.
I'll bet that there either has been or will be changes or additions since Sony appears to be paying attention to customers.
Yosp will probably say something similar soon.
I'm hoping Vita gets an early update to possibly show off the new store and whatnot.
