Anything that brings us all closer to that, even if only a little, will get full support from me.

Also,
"Oxide is dedicated to making the definitive 3D engine for next-generation strategy games for console and PC. The engine, Nitrous, is a native 64-bit multicore game engine designed specifically for the hardware now common in PCs as well as the Sony PlayStation® 4™ and Microsoft’s Xbox® One™."

This is fantastic news for the gaming...

:D
Many will probably hate me, but I live in Newfoundland (GMT-3:30) so November 15th starts an hour and a half earlier than EST.

That makes me the first timezone in the world to get next gen! yaayyyyyyyyyy haha

edit: There's Atlantic time, too. Canada is the first country in the world to get next gen consoles.

Both.

My guess:
There will be a next gen version released after a period of current gen exclusivity. (If I were a betting man, I would say Sony made the deal for the current gen exclusivity. Look at the ps3 bundle, the pulse elite headset, and the ps3 sales for Semptember)
It's only a matter of time before a PC version comes, and next gen consoles are on the same architecture. It would make sense that if they are making a PC version, then make a couple of ...

The update that they just pushed for the web store on mobile devices worked great for me. It looks similar to the forthcoming app.

I would imagine that there's probably a software update for PS3 and definitely one for Vita in the next month.

I don't know, of course, but my answer to your question would be yes. If the app can cover pretty much all of it, then the same will probably exist as a web app.

Unmentioned point:

In regards to Titanfall, nothing is set in stone. Respawn do not want to give up any freedoms with their game, and I feel that they got the good end of the stick with the EA publishing deal. EA got their victory by getting to publish a game by the Call of Duty creators.

Who knows what deal was made? It might have been open enough that Respawn can choose another publisher for a probable PS4 version of Titanfall.

Another thin...

Whilst not the same, I've been buying most games digitally, as the PSN does not charge tax.

Go to the store and buy a game for $59.95 + the 13% harmonized tax here
OR
Go to the store and buy 3x$20 PSN cards and pay no tax.

Sure, you can't sell the used copy, but you still save $7.75 off the hop!

I'm just happy that x86 is now the de facto standard for pretty much all non mobile gaming.

This means a lot. Alternate control schemes or keyboard and mouse support could open up many new opportunities.
RTS makers, for example, could make console ports to increase revenue.

There should be clarification to this very quickly.

Even if Microsoft aren't privy to release this kind of information, then I believe the third parties themselves should.

I mean, this is $400-$500+ of people's money we're taking about.
It may not matter to everyone, but to some people, it does.

I assume Sony did it with GTA V.

The age demographics of gamers are constantly changing, too. The gamers who grew up with NES and beyond are now age 25+. More and more games are now paired with good narrative and will have lasting memories. Who knows? Games could be as indispensable as movies and TV.
The same thing can be said about developers. Look at Naughty Dog. I was in grade 7 in school when I played Crash Bandicoot. Now, I'm 28, and The Last Of Us is the best game I've played in a long time, if not ever...

If you haven't played one, (a Lego game) they're all pretty much the same idea. They're really easy, but they're really addictive. The formula never seems to change much, but it doesn't have to, as the games always seem to sell well.

Also, if you're into trophies, these games are open season. Lego Batman 2 had like 6 gold in it.

This will be a pretty good seller before the year is up, which is funny because you won't see it on pre-...

Yes, it's EA.
Although, at the same time: Respawn are not giving up the rights to their games. They've been down that road with Activision, and I doubt it will happen again. So, it's not EA's call. This game might never see the

My theory on this game is that Respawn took a cash deal from Microsoft to help fund a lot of this game, and with Repawn's bona fide talent and hard work, this game will turn into something profitable. Maybe their financial s...

Why must people insist on making "spying" an issue? Hear me out: (or read me out, I guess)

The NSA building a database on phone calls, texts, internet usage, etc. was to be expected. In fact, the idea of PRISM would still have been LEGAL pre-patriot act. A court can still approve the collection of data without a target. This was set in stone before the internet saw popular usage. It would only become illegal to actually use the data without court consent. This is wh...

I'm hoping the vita version is great!

I bought Lego Batman 2 digital when it was on sale for $5 and absolutely loved it.
I then tried Lego LOTR and was not nearly as impressed.

Edit: vita versions

This game looks hilariously frustrating, and I think that is a beautiful thing.

Ever play couch multiplayer street fighter/mortal kombat in Little Big Planet? I almost pissed myself from laughing so hard.
This game looks similar in that regard.

I'm no Microsoft fan by any means, but I am sick of the "spybox" crap.

David Simon wrote a fantastic blog about the NSA and this method, and I would definitely suggest reading it. You may learn something.

@meatysausage

Too cheap to buy one.

Scratch that, too young to work and my parents were too cheap to buy one.

Also, this conjured up another memory...

One time I rented Dead or Alive (the first one) for psx, and just kept it running as I didn't have a memory card. When I played it the next day I had a poopload of cheats unlocked. (including the bouncing breasts, I believe) I had no idea you could unlock stuff by amount of...
